Canon PIXMA TS8360a is a multifunctional home printer offering scanning, printing and copying. It uses individual ink tanks for high quality prints. Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Load paper into the paper trays.

Setup on Windows
Driver Installation

- Run the installer and follow the on-screen prompts.
- Choose the connection type: Wireless Connection or USB Connection.
Wireless Connection Setup
- Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the power lamp flashes.
- Use the Canon installer on your Windows PC to detect the printer and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
- Enter the Wi-Fi credentials if prompted.
USB Connection Setup
- Connect the printer to your Windows PC using a USB cable.
- The system should automatically detect the printer and complete the driver installation.
Usage
- Use the Canon software or Windows default utilities for printing and scanning tasks.

Wireless Connection Setup
- Use the printer’s control panel to navigate to Wireless LAN Setup and follow the on-screen steps to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
- On your Mac, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > Add (+) and select the TS8360a from the list.
USB Connection Setup
- Connect the printer to your Mac via a USB cable.
- It should appear automatically in the Printers & Scanners list. If not, add it manually.

- Use built-in macOS tools like Preview or Canon software to scan and print.

- Activate Wi-Fi Direct on the printer.
- Connect your iOS device to the printer’s Wi-Fi Direct network.
AirPrint
- Ensure the printer is on the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS device.
- From any app supporting printing, tap Share, select Print, and choose the TS8360a.
