The Canon PIXMA TS8290 is a home inkjet printer designed for photo printing, offering high-quality output with a 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution and a combination of dye and pigment inks for vivid photos and crisp text. While it uses a glass scanner, it lacks an automatic document feeder, focusing on high-detail prints.
Features
- High-Quality Photo & Document Printing: The printer utilizes a 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution and a 6-ink color system for excellent detail and vibrant colors in both photos and documents.
- Ink System: It features both pigment-based black ink for sharp text and dye-based inks for colorful photos.
- Software: Bundled with My Image Garden software, it allows users to edit photos, add effects, organize them into a calendar view, and receive layout suggestions for prints.
- Borderless Printing: The printer can produce borderless photo prints, including 4″ x 6″ sizes.
