Overview
Canon TS7780A is a home inkjet printer offering printing, copying, and scanning. It comes in a sleek and space saving design. It has a front mounted ink cartridge replacement and maintenance feature which allows easy DIY maintenance at home. Canon TS7780A has wireless direct printing and the Canon Cloud Print app.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take out the printer from the box.
- Take all accessories out and remove all the packaging materials.
- Remove the protective tape.
- Plug on the printer and turn the printer on.
- Install the ink.
- Load Paper.

Canon TS7780A setup on Windows
Setting up Canon TS7780A – Windows (Wi fi):
- Prepare the Printer:
- Tap the Home button on the touch panel.
- Select the Stop button and then proceed to the next step.
- Tap network icon.
- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Tap Wi-Fi setup.
- Choose WPS (Push button method).
- Tap Ok.
- Press and hold the WPS button on the wireless router.
- Tap OK within 2 minutes.
- Select Home, the network connection is complete now.
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon TS7780A printer.
- Print.
USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
- Go to the settings of your PC.
- Search for bluetooth and devices.
- Click on Printers and Scanners.
- From the available printers list select your Canon TS7780A.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon TS7780A printer.
- Print.

Setting up Canon TS7780A – Mac (Wi fi):
- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.
- Prepare the Printer:
- Tap the Home button on the touch panel.

- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Tap Wi-Fi setup.

- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
- On your Mac click on the system preference option.
- Now click on Printer and Scanners.
- The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon TS7780A.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon TS7780A printer.
- Print.
Canon TS7780A setup on iPhone & iPad
Setting up Canon TS7780A – IOS:
- Printing with AirPrint from iOS Device:
- Tap operation icon using your iOS device’s application.
- Menu options appear.
- Tap Print:
- Select your model name from Printer on Printer Options.
- Check Print Settings:
- Set the number of copies to be printed and print options, as needed.
- Click on Print.

Setting up Canon TS7780A – Android:
- Setting Up Canon Print Service:
- Download Canon Print Service on Google Play Store.
- After completing installation, enable Canon Print Service on your Android smartphone or tablet.
- Connect your smartphone or tablet and the printer to the same network over Wi-Fi.
- Printing Using Canon Print Service:
- Perform operation for printing in application.
- Select printer in application.
- Specify number of copies, paper size, and other settings as needed.
- Start printing:
- Printing starts with your specified settings.
Canon TS7780A setup on Chromebook
Setting up Canon TS7780A – Chrome OS (Wi fi):
- Connect Chromebook to network connection:
- Connect chromebook to your home/office network.
- Check that the printer and chrome book are connected to the same network.
- Add Printer:
- Click the Settings icon.
- In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
- Click Printing and then Printers.
- Your Canon TS7780A should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
- Click Add.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon TS7780A printer.
- Print.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Printer not connecting to wifi:
- Possible Causes: Incorrect password, weak, signal or outdated firmware.
- Solutions:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi password is correct
- Place the printer close to the router
- Re-run Easy Wireless Connect
- Press Setup >Wi-Fi Setup >Easy Wireless Connect
- Restart the router and printer
- Check for firmware updates via Canon’s official website
- Print Not Detected by computer or mobile:
- Solutions:
- Ensure both printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network
- Restart your printer and device
- Reinstall the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app (for mobile)
- For USB connection, ensure the cable is securely connected
- On Windows/Mac, reinstall the printer driver

- Paper Jam:

- Turn off the printer
- Gently remove jammed paper from the rear tray, output slot, or inside the printer
- Check for torn paper pieces
- Restart the printer

- Check ink levels and replace cartridges if needed
- Run Print Head Cleaning:
- Press Setup >Maintenance>Cleaning
