Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Load paper into the paper trays.

Setup on Windows
- Connect the Printer to Wi-Fi
- On the printer screen, go to Settings > LAN Settings > Wireless LAN Setup.
- Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Download and Install the Software
- Driver Download Links are in the bottom of the page.
- Enter “TS7440a”, download the Windows driver package, and launch the installer.
- Complete Installation
- Choose Wireless Connection during setup.
- Follow on-screen instructions to detect and add your printer.
- Test the Setup
- Print a test page from any Windows application to ensure everything works correctly.

- Connect to Wi-Fi
- Use the printer’s control panel to navigate to LAN Settings, then connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
- Add Printer on Mac
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners, click the + button.
- Select Canon TS7440a from the list and click Add.
- Test with a Document
- Open a file and print to confirm the printer is ready.

- Ensure Devices Are on the Same Network
- Your iOS device and the TS7440a must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Use Apple AirPrint
- Open a document, email, or photo.
- Tap the Share icon, select Print, and choose Canon TS7440a as your printer.
- Print Directly from iOS
- Tap Print. No additional app or drivers are needed.

- Download Canon PRINT App
- Install Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY from the Google Play Store.
- Connect Your Printer
- Open the app, tap Add Printer, then select Register Printer.
- Follow the instructions for Connect via Wireless Router.
- Start Printing or Scanning
- Use the app to print photos, documents, or scan directly from your TS7440a.

Setup on ChromeOS (Chromebooks)
- Connect Printer to Wi-Fi
- Make sure your TS7440a is already connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromebook.
- Add Printer in Chromebook Settings
- On your Chromebook, go to Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer, and your Canon TS7440a should appear automatically.
- Print from ChromeOS
- Open any file or webpage, click Print, and choose the TS7440a from the list.
Troubleshooting Steps
- If the printer isn’t showing up, restart both the printer and your device.
- Make sure all devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Keep your printer firmware up to date through its settings menu.
- Re-run setup software if the printer isn’t detected during installation.
