Overview
The Canon PIXMA TS6250 is a compact, all-in-one inkjet printer designed for home use. It offers wireless connectivity for smart devices and the cloud, including printing, copying, and scanning capabilities. The printer features a 7.5cm touchscreen, auto 2-sided printing, and uses 5 individual ink tanks.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Load paper into the paper trays.

Canon TS6250 setup on Windows
- Setting up Guide for Windows:
1. Prepare the printer:
- Unpack the printer and ensure all protective materials are removed.
- Connect the power cable and turn on the printer.
- If using wireless, you’ll need to connect the printer to your home Wi-Fi network.
- If using a USB connection, connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable.
2. Connect the printer to your network (if wireless):
- Network Setup: Follow the instructions in the “Setup Guide – TS6200 series” to connect the printer to your network.
- Wi-Fi Setup: You can use the printer’s built-in Wi-Fi setup to connect it to your wireless router.
3. Install the printer driver:
- Driver Download: Download the latest printer driver from the Canon support website.
- Driver Installation: Follow the instructions in the “Adding Printers” to add the printer to your Windows computer.
4. Optional: Install additional software:
- Canon Inkjet Print Utility: Download and install the Canon Inkjet Print Utility for enhanced printing features.
- My Print: Download and install My Print for more advanced printing options, Canon website.
Canon TS6250 setup on macOS
- Setting up Guide for MAC:
1. Download the Driver and Software:
- Go to Canon’s support website and search for the PIXMA TS6250.
- Locate the “Drivers” or “Software” section and download the appropriate driver for your macOS version.
- Make sure you download the “Master Setup” file for macOS.
2. Connect the Printer:
- USB Connection: Connect the printer to your Mac using a USB cable.
- Wireless Connection: Ensure your Mac and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network. You may need to access the printer’s settings via the web interface to configure the Wi-Fi connection.
3. Install the Software:
- Double-click the downloaded “Master Setup” file to launch the setup screen.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software and configure the connection settings.
4. Add Printer in System Preferences:
- Open “System Preferences” on your Mac.
- Go to “Printers & Scanners.”
- Click the “+” button to add a printer.
- Select your printer from the list and follow the prompts to add it.

- Setting up Guide for IOS:
1. Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app:
- Download the app from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Connect your device to the printer’s Wi-Fi network:
- Connect via direct Wi-Fi: The printer can create its own temporary Wi-Fi network. The app will guide you through connecting to this network.
- Connect via your home Wi-Fi: You can also connect the printer to your existing home Wi-Fi network, and then connect your iOS device to the same network.
3. Print using the app:
- Open the app and select the document or image you want to print.
- Follow the app’s instructions to print the document .
4. AirPrint:
- If your printer supports AirPrint, you can print directly from within certain iOS apps without needing the Canon PRINT app.
- Look for the “Print” icon in the app you’re using and select “AirPrint” to print.

- Setting up Guide for Android:
1. Connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network:
- Follow the instructions in the printer’s manual to set up the wireless connection.
- You may need to use the printer’s Wi-Fi setup button or go through the printer’s menu to connect to your home network.
2. Download and install the Canon PRINT app:
- Search for “Canon PRINT” in the Google Play Store.
- Install the app on your Android device.
3. Add the printer to the app:
- Open the Canon PRINT app.
- Follow the app’s instructions to connect to your printer.
- The app may prompt you to allow access to your location and devices on your network.
4. Printing from your Android device:
- Open the Canon PRINT app and select the “Print” option.
- Choose the document or photo you want to print.
- The app will guide you through the printing process.

- Setting up Guide for Chromebook:
1. Connect Printer to Network:
- Follow the printer’s setup guide to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
2. Connect Chromebook to Network:
- Ensure your Chromebook is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
3. Add Printer in Chromebook Settings:
- Click on the time at the bottom right of the Chromebook.
- Click on “Settings”.
- Under “Device,” scroll down and click on “Printers and scanners”.
- If your printer is detected, click on it and follow the on-screen instructions to set it up.
4. Alternatively, use the Canon PRINT app:
- Download and install the Canon PRINT app on your Chromebook.
- Follow the app’s instructions to connect to your printer.
5. Test Printing:
- After setting up the printer, try printing a test page to ensure everything is working correctly
Troubleshooting Steps
- 1. Check for Paper Jams:
- Open the printer’s paper output slot and check for any jammed paper.
- If you find paper, carefully remove it.
- Check the rear tray and inside the printer for any paper debris.
- 2. Check Ink Levels:
- If the printer is not printing, check the ink levels on the control panel.
- Replace any empty ink cartridges.
- 3. Restart Printer and Computer:
- Unplug the printer from the power outlet and wait for a few seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Restart your computer.
- 4. Check Wireless Connection:
- Ensure the printer and your computer or smartphone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- If using a USB cable, ensure it is securely connected.
- 5. Clean Print Head:
- If printing lines or streaks, try cleaning the print head.
- This can be done through the printer’s control panel or software.
- 6. Check Printer Settings:
