Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take out the printer from the box.
- Take all accessories out and remove all the packaging materials.
- Remove the protective tapes.
- Press on the power button to turn the printer on.
- Install the ink cartridges.
- Load the paper.

Canon TS5530 setup on Windows
Setting up Canon TS5530 – Windows (Wi fi):
- Prepare the printer:
- Press the ok button to enter the menu then select device settings.
- Choose rest settings and then LAN settings only.
- Select yes to confirm.
- Press the ok button again to menu and select wi-fi setup.
- Select WPS Push Button Method and press ok.
- Press and hold the WPS button on your router within two minutes until on the wireless router the light blinks.
- Press the ok button on the printer to finalise the connection.
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon TS5530 printer.
- Print.
USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
- Go to the settings of your PC.
- Search for bluetooth and devices.
- Click on Printers and Scanners.
- From the available printers list select your Canon TS5530.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon TS5530 printer.
- Print.

Setting up Canon TS5530 – Mac (Wi fi):
- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.
- Prepare the printer:
- Press the ok button to enter the menu then select device settings.
- Choose rest settings and then LAN settings only.

- Download Drivers:

- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
- On your Mac click on the system preference option.
- Now click on Printer and Scanners.
- The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon TS5530.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon TS5530 printer.
- Print.

Setting up Canon TS5530 – IOS:
- Printing with AirPrint from iOS Device:
- Tap operation icon using your iOS device’s application.
- Menu options appear.
- Tap Print:
- Select your model name from Printer on Printer Options.
- Check Print Settings:
- Set the number of copies to be printed and print options, as needed.
- Click on Print.

Setting up Canon TS5530 – Android:
- Setting Up Canon Print Service:
- Download Canon Print Service on Google Play Store.
- After completing installation, enable Canon Print Service on your Android smartphone or tablet.
- Connect your smartphone or tablet and the printer to the same network over Wi-Fi.
- Printing Using Canon Print Service:
- Perform operation for printing in application.
- Select printer in application.
- Specify number of copies, paper size, and other settings as needed.
- Start printing:
- Printing starts with your specified settings.

Setting up Canon TS5530 – Chrome OS (Wi fi):
- Connect Chromebook to network connection:
- Connect chromebook to your home/office network.
- Check that the printer and chromebook are connected to the same network.
- Add Printer:
- Click the Settings icon.
- In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
- Click Printing and then Printers.
- Your Canon TS5530 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
- Click Add.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon TS5530 printer.
- Print.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Check the power:
- Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected.
- Check the cartridges:
- Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. Also, ensure that there is enough ink.
- Check paper:
- If the papers are not arranged correctly, take them out of the paper tray and straighten them up. Make sure that the paper tray is not jammed. You can now shut off the paper tray.
- Check Wi-Fi Connection:
- Ensure that your printer and device are connected to the same network.
- Make sure that the WIFI connection is stable.
- Update the Driver:
- Outdated drivers may cause problems.
- Check for the latest driver updates for your printer model.
- Download and install the updated driver.
