The Canon PIXMA TS5000 is a compact all-in-one inkjet printer with wireless connectivity, allowing seamless printing across multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Chrome OS. This guide will help you set up your Canon TS5000 for the first time.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Load paper into the paper trays.

Setting Up Canon TS5000 on Windows
Step 1: Download and Install Printer Drivers
- Driver Download links are in the bottom of the page.
- Download the latest Windows drivers and run the installation file.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Step 2: Connect the Printer to Windows
- USB Connection: Use a USB cable to connect the printer to your Windows PC.
- Wi-Fi Connection:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the power light blinks.
- Follow the setup wizard on your computer to complete the wireless connection.
Step 3: Add the Printer to Windows
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Click Add a Printer or Scanner and select Canon TS5000.
- Click Add Device to complete the setup.
Your Canon TS5000 is now ready for printing on Windows!

Setting Up Canon TS5000 on Mac
Step 1: Install Printer Drivers
- Driver Download links are in the bottom of the page.
- Install the drivers and restart your Mac if needed.
Step 2: Connect the Printer to Mac
- USB Connection: Use a USB cable to connect the printer to your Mac.
- Wi-Fi Connection:
- Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the power light flashes.
- Use the Canon Setup Utility to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Step 3: Add the Printer to Mac
- Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Click the + button to add a printer.
- Select Canon TS5000 and click Add.
Your Mac is now set up for wireless printing!

Setting Up Canon TS5000 on iOS (iPhone/iPad)
The Canon TS5000 supports Apple AirPrint, allowing you to print directly from your iPhone or iPad.
Step 1: Connect Printer to Wi-Fi
Ensure your Canon TS5000 and iPhone/iPad are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 2: Print Using AirPrint
- Open the document or photo you want to print.
- Tap the Share button and select Print.
- Choose Canon TS5000 from the available printers.
- Tap Print.
Your iOS device is now ready for wireless printing!

Setting Up Canon TS5000 on Android
Step 1: Install Canon PRINT App
- Open the Google Play Store and search for Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY.
- Download and install the app.
Step 2: Connect to the Printer
- Open the Canon PRINT app.
- Select Canon TS5000 from the list of available printers.
- Ensure your printer and phone are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 3: Print from Android
- Choose the document or image you want to print.
- Tap Print.
Your Android device is now set up for wireless printing!

Step 1: Add Printer to Chromebook
- Open Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer and select Canon TS5000.
Step 2: Print from Chromebook
- Open the document or webpage you want to print.
- Press Ctrl + P to open the print menu.
- Select Canon TS5000 and click Print.
Your Canon TS5000 is now ready for printing on ChromeOS!
Troubleshooting Steps
- Printer Not Detected?
- Ensure your printer and device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Restart both the printer and the device.
- If using USB, check the cable connection.
- Slow Printing?
- Make sure your Wi-Fi signal is strong.
