Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Take out the printer from the box.
  2. Take all accessories out and remove all the packaging materials.
  3. Remove the protective tapes.
  4. Press on the power button to turn the printer on.
  5. Install the ink cartridges.
  6. Load the paper.

Canon TS3460 setup on Windows

Setting up Canon PIXMA TS3460 – Windows (Wi fi):

  1. Download the Drivers:
    • Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
    • Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
  2. Connect the printer to your laptop/PC:
    • Go to the printer’s control panel, press and hold the wireless button
    • Go to your laptop/PC settings and click on option Devices.
    • Now go to bluetooth and other devices and you can see your printer’s name.
    • Select it and click Add.
    • Click on the Printers & Scanners option and select Canon PIXMA TS3460.
  3. Print the Test page:
    • Open a document, photo, or webpage.
    • Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon PIXMA TS3460 printer.
    • Print.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

  1. Download the Drivers:
    • Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
    • Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
  2. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
    • Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
    • Go to the settings of your PC.
    • Search for bluetooth and devices.
    • Click on Printers and Scanners.
    • From the available printers list select your Canon PIXMA TS3460.
  3. Print the Test page:
    • Open a document, photo, or webpage.
    • Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon PIXMA TS3460 printer.
    • Print.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Minor print issues:
    • Try to restart the printer that can resolve minor issues. 
  2. Low print quality or poor connectivity issues:
    • Outdated drivers can cause problems. Check the latest driver for your operating system.
  3. WPS Connection (If Available):
    • Make sure your router supports the WPS.
    • Ensure your printer and router has strong signals.
    • Move your printer closer to the router for a strong connection.
  4. Printer is offline or not responding:
    • If your computer and printer aren’t communicating, try cancelling existing print jobs.
    • Try setting your Canon printer as the default printer.
    • Restart the Print Spooler service on Windows.
    • Check cables and wi-fi.
