Overview

The Canon TS 3150 is a compact, all-in-one inkjet printer that prints, scans, and copies with a rear paper tray, a 1.5-inch LCD display, and wireless connectivity for PC, mobile, and cloud printing via Wi-Fi and the Canon PRINT app.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Take the printer out of the box.
  2. Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
  3. Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
  4. Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
  5. Install the toner cartridges.
  6. Load paper into the paper trays.

Canon TS3150 setup on Windows

  1. Download the Driver: Find the “Drivers” or “Software” tab and download the appropriate driver and software for your Windows operating system. 
  2. Run the Installer: Locate the downloaded file and run the installer to begin the setup process. 
  3. Prepare Your Printer: Make sure your TS3150 printer is turned on and powered on. 
  4. Connect to Network: If connecting wirelessly, ensure your computer is connected to the same wireless router that the printer will use. 
  5. Complete Setup: Follow the prompts on the setup application to complete the connection and installation

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check for Paper and Jams: Ensure the printer has paper loaded and that no paper is jammed in the paper path.
  2. Verify Ink Cartridge Installation:
  3. Remove and re-install the ink cartridges, ensuring no packing tape is left on them.
  4. Check the gold contact pins on the cartridges and in the printer for ink or debris; clean them gently with a paper towel or alcohol swab if needed, letting them dry before re-inserting.
  5. Confirm Power: Make sure the printer is powered on and has no warning lights illuminated.
  6. Check Connections:USB: Ensure the USB cable is securely plugged into both the printer and the computer.
  7. Wi-Fi: Print a network configuration page from the printer to check the Wi-Fi connection status.
  8. Restart the Printer: Power the printer off, unplug it, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
