Overview
The Canon TS 3150 is a compact, all-in-one inkjet printer that prints, scans, and copies with a rear paper tray, a 1.5-inch LCD display, and wireless connectivity for PC, mobile, and cloud printing via Wi-Fi and the Canon PRINT app.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Load paper into the paper trays.

Canon TS3150 setup on Windows
- Download the Driver: Find the “Drivers” or “Software” tab and download the appropriate driver and software for your Windows operating system.
- Run the Installer: Locate the downloaded file and run the installer to begin the setup process.
- Prepare Your Printer: Make sure your TS3150 printer is turned on and powered on.
- Connect to Network: If connecting wirelessly, ensure your computer is connected to the same wireless router that the printer will use.
- Complete Setup: Follow the prompts on the setup application to complete the connection and installation
Canon TS3150 setup on macOS
- Download the software and download the Master Setup file.
- Mount the Disk Image: Double-click the downloaded file and mount the disk image on your Mac.
- Launch Setup: Open the mounted disk image and double-click the “Master Setup” file to start the installation.
- Follow Instructions: Follow the on-screen prompts to install the necessary software and complete the connection setup.
- Using macOS System Settings (USB Connection)
- Open System Settings: Go to System Preferences (or System Settings on newer macOS versions) and click on the “Printers & Scanners” icon.
- Add Printer: Click the plus button to add a new printer.
- Select & Add: Select your Canon TS3150 printer from the list, and click the “Add” button. The necessary drivers will download and install automatically.

Setting up Guide for Android:
1. Download the Canon PRINT App
- Go to the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for and download the Canon PRINT app.
2. Connect your Android Device to the Printer
- Open the Canon PRINT app on your phone.
- When prompted, grant the app permission to access your location and network devices.
- Tap the “Add Printer” or search button to find available Canon printers on your Wi-Fi network.
- Select your Canon TS3150 printer from the list to complete the connection and begin printing.
Canon TS3150 setup on Chromebook
- Open Chromebook Settings: On your Chromebook, click the time in the bottom-right corner and select Settings.
- Access Printer Settings: In the Settings menu, scroll down and select Advanced, then click on Print and scan, and finally select Printers.
- Add Your Printer: Look for your Canon printer in the list of available printers and select Add printer or Save next to its name to add it to your Chromebook.
- Print Documents: Open the document or application you want to print from. In the print dialog, change the destination from “Save as PDF” to your Canon printer.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Check for Paper and Jams: Ensure the printer has paper loaded and that no paper is jammed in the paper path.
- Verify Ink Cartridge Installation:
- Remove and re-install the ink cartridges, ensuring no packing tape is left on them.
- Check the gold contact pins on the cartridges and in the printer for ink or debris; clean them gently with a paper towel or alcohol swab if needed, letting them dry before re-inserting.
- Confirm Power: Make sure the printer is powered on and has no warning lights illuminated.
- Check Connections:USB: Ensure the USB cable is securely plugged into both the printer and the computer.
- Wi-Fi: Print a network configuration page from the printer to check the Wi-Fi connection status.
- Restart the Printer: Power the printer off, unplug it, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
