Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take all the accessories and the printer itself from the box.
- Remove all the packaging materials.
- Remove the protective tapes.
- Press on the power button to turn the printer on.
- Setup the ink cartridges.
- Load paper.

Canon TR8660a setup on Windows
Setting up Canon TR8660a – Windows (Wi fi):
- Connect your printer to Wifi:
- From the printer screen you will be able to see the settings icon, click on that.
- Select device settings.
- Choose LAN settings.
- Click on Wi-fi.
- Select wi-fi setup.
- Choose Manual Connect.
- Select your wi-fi network from the available wifi list.
- Enter the password and press ok.
- Connect printer to your PC/Laptop:
- On your PC go to the settings.
- Select Printers&Scanners.
- Click on Add printer.
- Select Canon PIXMA TR8660a from the available list.
- Click Add.
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
- Go to the settings of your PC.
- Search for bluetooth and devices.
- Click on Printers and Scanners.
- From the available printers list select your Canon PIXMA TR8660a.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon PIXMA TR8660a – Mac (Wi fi):
- Connect your printer to Wifi:
- From the printer screen you will be able to see the settings icon, click on that.

- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
- On your Mac click on the system preference option.
- Now click on Printer and Scanners.
- The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon PIXMA TR8660a.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon PIXMA TR8660a – IOS:
- Connect to the Wifi:
- Turn on your Canon PIXMA TR8660a.
- Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.

- Go to the app store.
