Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Unbox your Canon TR4640.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Plug it into a power source, and make sure it’s turned on.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Load paper into the paper trays.

Setting Up Canon TR4640 on Windows
Step 1: Unbox and Connect
Unbox your Canon TR4640, plug it into a power source, and make sure it’s turned on.
Step 2: Install Printer Drivers
- Driver Download links are in the bottom of the page.
- Search for “Canon TR4640” and download the latest printer drivers for your version of Windows.
- Open the downloaded file and follow the installation instructions to install the drivers.
Step 3: Connect via USB or Wi-Fi
- USB connection: Plug the USB cable into both your computer and the printer.
- Wi-Fi connection: Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer, select your Wi-Fi network, and enter the password.
Step 4: Add Printer to Windows
- Open the Start menu and go to Settings.
- Select Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Click Add a Printer or Scanner.
- Select your Canon TR4640 from the list and click Add Device.
Your printer is now set up and ready to print from your Windows device!

Setting Up Canon TR4640 on Mac
Step 1: Install Printer Drivers
- Driver Download links are in the bottom of the page.
- Download and install the appropriate drivers for macOS.
Step 2: Connect via USB or Wi-Fi
- USB connection: Connect your Canon TR4640 to your Mac using the USB cable.
- Wi-Fi connection: Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer to connect it to your wireless network.
Step 3: Add Printer to Mac
- Open System Preferences and select Printers & Scanners.
- Click the + button to add your printer.
- Select the Canon TR4640 from the list and click Add.
Your Mac is now set up to print with the Canon TR4640!

Setting Up Canon TR4640 on iOS
Step 1: Connect Printer to Wi-Fi
Make sure your Canon TR4640 is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2: Set Up AirPrint
- Open Settings on your iOS device.
- Tap Wi-Fi, and confirm that your printer is connected to the same network.
Step 3: Print from iOS
- Open the document or photo you want to print.
- Tap the Share button and select Print.
- Choose your Canon TR4640 from the list of printers, then tap Print.

Step 1: Install Canon Print App
- Go to the Google Play Store and search for Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY.
- Install the app and open it.
Step 2: Connect Printer to Wi-Fi
Ensure your Canon TR4640 is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android device.
Step 3: Print from Android
- Open the Canon PRINT app.
- Select the Canon TR4640 from the list of available printers.
- Choose the document or photo you want to print, then tap Print.
Your Android device is now ready to print!

Setting Up Canon TR4640 on ChromeOS
Step 1: Add Printer to ChromeOS
- Open Settings on your Chromebook.
- Scroll down to Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer.
Step 2: Connect Printer to Wi-Fi
Make sure your Canon TR4640 is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromebook.
Step 3: Print from ChromeOS
- Open the document or webpage you want to print.
- Press Ctrl + P to open the print dialog.
- Select your Canon TR4640 from the list of printers.
- Click Print.

Troubleshooting Steps
