Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Unbox your Canon TR4640.
  2. Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
  3. Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
  4. Plug it into a power source, and make sure it’s turned on.
  5. Install the toner cartridges.
  6. Load paper into the paper trays.

Setting Up Canon TR4640 on Windows

Step 1: Unbox and Connect

Unbox your Canon TR4640, plug it into a power source, and make sure it’s turned on.

Step 2: Install Printer Drivers

  1. Driver Download links are in the bottom of the page.
  2. Search for “Canon TR4640” and download the latest printer drivers for your version of Windows.
  3. Open the downloaded file and follow the installation instructions to install the drivers.

Step 3: Connect via USB or Wi-Fi

  • USB connection: Plug the USB cable into both your computer and the printer.
  • Wi-Fi connection: Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer, select your Wi-Fi network, and enter the password.

Step 4: Add Printer to Windows

  1. Open the Start menu and go to Settings.
  2. Select Devices > Printers & Scanners.
  3. Click Add a Printer or Scanner.
  4. Select your Canon TR4640 from the list and click Add Device.

Your printer is now set up and ready to print from your Windows device!
