Requirements & Prerequisite
Gather the following items before you begin setup. Tick each one as you get it.

It combines printing, scanning, copying, and faxing functionalities in a compact, affordable package.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Load paper into the paper trays.

Canon TR4450 setup on Windows
Setting up Guide for Windows:
- Connect the power cable and turn ON the printer
● Install the ink cartridges (provided in the box)
● Load plain paper into the paper tray - Install Printer Driver
● Download the latest Full Driver & Software Package for Windows
● Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions - Wireless or USB Connection
For Wireless Setup:
● During installation, select Wireless Connection
● Follow the prompts to connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network:
● On the printer screen, go to Menu > WLAN Setup
● Choose Easy Wireless Connect
● Press and hold the Wireless button until the indicator flashes
● Complete the setup using the software installer on your PC
● Ensure your computer is on the same Wi-Fi network
For USB Connection:
● Connect the printer to your computer using the USB cable
● The software will detect the printer and complete setup - Test the Printer
● Print a test page from the software or Control Panel > Devices and Printers
● Check scanning and copying functions

Setting up Guide for MAC:
- Plug in the power cable and turn ON
● Load plain paper into the paper tray - Download the Software for Mac
● Download the latest Driver & Software Package for macOS
● Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions - Wireless Setup (Recommended)
● On the printer’s control panel, press Menu > WLAN Setup
● Select Easy Wireless Connect
● Press and hold the Wireless button until the indicator light flashes
● On your Mac, during installation, select Wireless Connection
● Follow the prompts to connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network
Note: Your Mac and printer must be connected to the same Wi-Fi networt - Add the Printer to Mac
● Open System Settings (or System Preferences)
● Go to Printers & Scanners
● Click the + button to add a printer
● Select your Canon TR4450 from the list
● Click Add - Test Printing
● Print a test page to confirm setup
● Try scanning using the Canon IJ Scan Utility or Image Capture

Setting up Guide for Android:
- Make sure the printer is turned ON
- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the printer:
● On the printer screen, go to Menu > WLAN Setup
● Select Easy Wireless Connect
● The Wi-Fi indicator light should start blinking - Install Canon PRINT App
● Open Google Play Store
● Search for Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY
● Download and install the app - Connect the Printer to Android
● Open the Canon PRINT app
● Follow the on-screen instructions:
● Tap Add Printer or Register Printer
● The app will search for available printers
● If the printer is not detected, tap Connect via Wireless Router
● Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password
● The printer will connect to the network and register with the app - Print or Scan from Android
● Use the Canon PRINT app to:
● Print photos, documents, or PDFs
● Scan documents directly to your phone
Canon TR4450 setup on Chromebook
Setting Up Guide for Chromebook:
- Turn ON the printer
● Ensure the printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network:
● Go to Menu > WLAN Setup on the printer
● Choose Easy Wireless Connect
● Follow the steps to connect to your Wi-Fi network - Connect the Printer to Chromebook
● On your Chromebook, click the Clock in the bottom-right
● Open Settings
● Scroll down and click Advanced
● Under Printing, click Printers
● Your Chromebook should automatically detect the Canon TR4450 if it’s on the same Wi-Fi
● Click Save next to your printer - Print from Chromebook
● Open the document, image, or webpage you want to print
● Press Ctrl + P or select Print from the menu
● Choose Canon TR4450 from the list of printers
● Adjust settings as needed and click Print
Troubleshooting Steps
- Printer Not Detected (Wi-Fi Issues)
Solutions:
• Ensure the printer is powered ON
• Confirm the Wi-Fi indicator on the printer is solid (not blinking)
• Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
• Go to Menu > WLAN Setup > Easy Wireless Connect
• Ensure your computer/phone is on the same Wi-Fi network
• Restart your router, printer, and devices - Printing Blank Pages
Solutions:
• Check ink levels (replace if low or empty)
• Run print head cleaning:
• Use Canon IJ Utility on your computer
• On the printer: Menu > Maintenance > Cleaning
• Ensure paper is loaded correctly - Paper Jam
Solutions:
• Turn off the printer
• Open the rear cover or front tray
• Carefully remove any jammed paper
• Reload paper properly - Poor Print Quality (Blurry or Faded Prints)
Solutions:
• Check ink cartridges; replace if needed
• Run Print Head Cleaning from maintenance settings
• Align the print head:
• Menu > Maintenance > Print Head Alignment
• Use recommended paper type and settings
