The Canon PIXMA PRO‑10S is a premium professional photo printer designed for photographers and printing enthusiasts seeking gallery-quality output. Compact compared to larger format pros, the PRO‑10S fits well in studios without sacrificing print performance.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Take the printer out of the box.
  2. Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
  3. Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
  4. Plug in the printer, and turn it on.
  5. Open the panel and install the cartridges.
  6. Load preferred paper into the tray.

Canon Pro10S setup on Windows

Setting it up on Windows:

  1. Download the latest drivers and software package from the bottom of the page.
  2. Run the setup file and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Choose your connection type: USB, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet.
  4. For wireless setup, press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the light flashes, then connect via WPS or manual settings.
  5. The software will detect the printer and complete driver installation.
  6. Register the printer and set it as default if prompted.
  7. Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers to verify installation.
  8. Print a test image to confirm the setup was successful and colours are accurate.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check the power
  2. Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected
  3. Check the cartridges
  4. Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. Also make sure that there is enough ink and that the cartridges fit the model of your printer
  5. Check paper
  6. If the papers are not arranged correctly, take out the paper tray and straighten them up. Make sure there are no jams in the printer. You can now shut off the paper tray.
  7. Check Wi-Fi connection
  8. Ensure that your printer and device are connected to the same network.
  9. Make sure that the Wi-Fi is stable
  10. Reset the printer
  11. Resetting the printer can resolve many issues
  12. Update printer drivers
  13. If the drivers are outdated, check for newer ones
