Overview
The Canon PIXMA MX870 is an wireless inkjet multifunction printer designed for home and small office use. It offers printing, scanning, copying, and fax capabilities.
Features
- Automatic document feeder (ADF): The integrated ADF can hold up to 35 pages and allows for multi-page copying, scanning, and faxing without manually feeding each sheet. It also supports duplex (double-sided) scanning and copying.
- Dual paper trays: It features two paper paths, allowing you to load plain paper in one tray for documents and photo paper in the other for pictures, so you don’t have to constantly swap out paper.
- 5-ink tank system: The printer uses a five-cartridge system with individual tanks for pigment black, dye-based black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. This allows you to replace only the specific color that runs out.
- High-quality output: With a maximum color resolution of 9600 x 2400 dpi, the MX870 can produce high-quality photos and sharp text documents.
- Memory card slots: You can print photos directly from various memory cards, including Compact Flash, SD/SDHC, Memory Stick, and XD cards.
