Canon PIXMA MX452 is an all-in-one inkjet printer with scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. It is ideal for homes and students. Canon PIXMA MX452 delivers professional printing quality with maximum color resolution. It comes in a very compact body and it is easy to use.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take all the accessories and the printer itself from the box.
- Remove all the packaging materials.
- Remove the protective tape.
- Press on the power button to turn the printer on.
- Unpack the ink cartridges and install them.
- Load the paper.

Canon MX452 setup on Windows
Setting up Canon PIXMA MX452 – Windows (Wi-fi):
- Prepare the printer:
- Press the setup button on the printer.
- Use the arrow buttons to select device settings and then press the ok button.
- Select reset settings and press ok button.
- Now select LAN settings and select yes to confirm it.
- Press the setup button on the printer and select wireless LAN setup.
- The blue wi-fi light will light up when the wireless connection is enabled.
- The printer will automatically search for access points supporting the WPS feature.
- Now press and hold the WPS button on the wireless router until the light blinks.
- Press the ok button on the printer within two minutes.
- The blue wifi lamp on the printer flashes when connecting to the access point.
- Your printer is now connected to your wireless network.
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
- Go to the settings of your PC.
- Search for bluetooth and devices.
- Click on Printers and Scanners.
- From the available printers list select your Canon PIXMA MX452.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon PIXMA MX452 – Mac (Wi-fi):
- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.

- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
- On your Mac click on the system preference option.
- Now click on Printer and Scanners.
- The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon PIXMA MX452.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon PIXMA MX452 – IOS:
- Connect to the Wifi:
- Turn on your Canon PIXMA MX452.
- Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.
- Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.
- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Go to the app store.
- Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.
- Download and install the app.
- Add printer:
- Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
- Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
- App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon PIXMA MX452 from the available list.
- Click on Add printer.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon PIXMA MX452 – Android:
- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Download the app from the play store.
- Add the printer on the app:
- Click on the add icon on the phone.
- Now click on the register printer.
- Select your Canon PIXMA MX452. Now the printer is installed on your phone.
- Print the Test page:

Troubleshooting Steps
- Minor print issues:
- Try to restart the printer that can resolve minor issues.
- Low print quality or poor connectivity issues:

- WPS Connection (If Available):
- Make sure your router supports the WPS.
- Ensure your printer and router has strong signals.
- Move your printer closer to the router for a strong connection.
- Printer is offline or not responding:
- If your computer and printer aren’t communicating, try cancelling existing print jobs.
- Try setting your Canon printer as the default printer.
- Restart the Print Spooler service on Windows.
- Check cables and wi-fi.
