Overview

The Canon PIXMA MP235 is a compact all-in-one inkjet printer capable of printing, copying, and scanning. It uses Canon’s FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) cartridge system, which is intended for everyday home and small office use.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Remove all packaging material and protective tapes from the printer
  2. Take out documentation material, power cord and other accessories from the box.
  3. Connect the power cord and turn ON the printer
  4. Install the ink cartridges
  5. Load paper into the paper tray

Setting up Guide for Windows:

  1. Download the Driver:
    • Download the “MP Drivers” for Windows.
  2. Run the Installer:
    • Locate the downloaded .exe file and double-click it to start the installation process.

    • Choose the connection method, selecting USB for a direct connection.
  4. Connect the Printer:
    • When the installer prompts you to do so, turn on your Canon MP230 printer and connect it to your computer using a USB cable.
  5. Complete Installation
  6. Verify Installation (Optional):
    • To confirm the printer is installed, search for “Printers & Scanners” in the Windows search bar to check if your Canon MP235 is listed as ready.
