Canon PIXMA MG6150 is an all-in-one printer. It offers printing, scanning and copying. It uses 6 ink technology which delivers fine quality printing with clear text. Canon PIXMA MG6150 comes with included softwares like Canon Multifunctional drivers, Canon MP Navigator EX (including OCR and PDF file creation), Canon Easy-PhotoPrint EX with Full HD Movie Print function and more.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the cartridges.
- Load paper.

Canon MG6150 setup on Windows
Setting up Canon PIXMA MG6150 – Windows (wi-fi):
- Prepare the printer:
- Navigate to the setup menu.
- Use the scroll wheel to go through the options.
- Select wireless LAN setup.
- Choose your wireless access point from the list.
- Enter your password.
- Now the blue wireless starts flashing and once it goes solid it means your printer is connected.
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon PIXMA MG6150 printer.
- Print.
USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
- Go to the settings of your PC.
- Search for bluetooth and devices.
- Click on Printers and Scanners.
- From the available printers list select your Canon PIXMA MG6150.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon PIXMA MG6150 printer.
- Print.

Setting up Canon PIXMA MG6150 – Mac (Wi-fi):
- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.
- Prepare the printer:
- Navigate to the setup menu.
- Use the scroll wheel to go through the options.
- Select wireless LAN setup.
- Choose your wireless access point from the list.
- Enter your password.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
- On your Mac click on the system preference option.
- Now click on Printer and Scanners.
- The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon PIXMA MG6150.
- Print the Test page:
- Open a document, photo, or webpage.
- Use Ctrl + P >Select your Canon PIXMA MG6150 printer.
- Print.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Printer not connecting to wi-fi (If Available):
- Possible Causes: Incorrect password, weak, signal or outdated firmware.
- Solutions:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi password is correct
- Place the printer close to the router
- Re-run Easy Wireless Connect
- Press Setup >Wi-Fi Setup >Easy Wireless Connect
- Restart the router and printer
- Check for firmware updates via Canon’s official website
- Print Not Detected by computer or mobile:
- Solutions:
- Ensure both printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network
- Restart your printer and device
- Reinstall the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app (for mobile)
- For USB connection, ensure the cable is securely connected
- On Windows/Mac, reinstall the printer driver

- Paper Jam:

- Turn off the printer
- Gently remove jammed paper from the rear tray, output slot, or inside the printer
- Check for torn paper pieces
- Restart the printer
- Solutions:
- Poor Print Quality (Faded, Streaks, Missing Colors)
- Solution:
- Check ink levels and replace cartridges if needed
- Run Print Head Cleaning:
- Press Setup >Maintenance>Cleaning
- Perform Print Head Alignment via the same menu
- Ensure you’re using compatible paper
- Solution:
