Canon PIXMA MG5752 is a versatile high speed printer offering scanning and copying also. It has 5 individual ink tanks with inkjet FINE print head and ChromaLife100 inks for super image quality and high resolution prints. Canon PIXMA MG5752 comes with included software like MP Driver including Scanning Utility, My Image Garden with Full HD Movie Print, Quick Menu, Easy-Web Print EX.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the cartridges.
- Load paper.

Canon MG5752 setup on Windows
Setting up Canon PIXMA MG5752 – Windows (wi-fi):
- Prepare the printer:
- Use the Down Arrow key to navigate to LAN Settings, then press the Left button towards the bottom side to select it.
- Select wireless LAN setup.
- Select WPS (Push Button Method) and press ok to confirm it.
- Now press and hold the WPS button on your router.
- Press ok on the printer control panel and your printer is connected.
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
- Go to the settings of your PC.
- Search for bluetooth and devices.
- Click on Printers and Scanners.
- From the available printers list select your Canon PIXMA MG5752.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon PIXMA MG5752 – Mac (Wi-fi):
- Prepare the printer:

- On your Mac click on the system preference option.
- Now click on Printer and Scanners.
- The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon PIXMA MG5752.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon PIXMA MG5752 – IOS:
- Connect to the Wifi:
- Turn on your Canon PIXMA MG5752.
- Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.
- Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.
- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Go to the app store.
- Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.
- Download and install the app.
- Add printer:
- Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
- Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
- App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon PIXMA MG5752 from the available list.
- Click on Add printer.
- Print the Test page:

Setting up Canon PIXMA MG5752 – Android:
- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Download the app from the play store.
- Add the printer on the app:
- Click on the add icon on the phone.
- Now click on the register printer.
- Select your Canon PIXMA MG5752.
- Now the printer is installed on your phone.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon PIXMA MG5752 – Chrome OS (Wi-fi) :
- Connect the printer to Wifi connection:
- Choose your wifi connection from the available networks.
- Enter the password.
- Wait until the printer displays connected.
- Add Printer:
- Click the Settings icon.
- In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
- Click Printing and then Printers.
- Your Canon PIXMA MG5752 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
- Click Add.
- Print the Test page:

USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Connect the printer to USB Cable:
- Plug the USB Cable into the printer and the other end to your Chromebook.
- Add printer:
- Click the Settings icon.
- In the settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
- Click Printing and then printers.
- Click on the Add Printer option.
- Your Canon PIXMA MG5752 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
- Click Add.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Printer not connecting to wifi:
- Possible Causes: Incorrect password, weak, signal or outdated firmware.
- Solutions:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi password is correct
- Place the printer close to the router
- Re-run Easy Wireless Connect
- Press Setup >Wi-Fi Setup >Easy Wireless Connect
- Restart the router and printer
- Check for firmware updates via Canon’s official website
- Print Not Detected by computer or mobile:
- Solutions:
- Ensure both printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network
- Restart your printer and device
- Reinstall the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app (for mobile)
- For USB connection, ensure the cable is securely connected
- On Windows/Mac, reinstall the printer driver

- Turn off the printer
- Gently remove jammed paper from the rear tray, output slot, or inside the printer
- Check for torn paper pieces
- Restart the printer

- Check ink levels and replace cartridges if needed
- Run Print Head Cleaning:
- Press Setup >Maintenance>Cleaning
