Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Remove packaging materials
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Open the front panel and install the cartridges.
- Load preferred paper into the tray.

Canon MG5750 setup on Windows
Setting it up on Windows:
- Download drivers and software from the bottom of the page
- Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
- When prompted, choose your connection type: Wi-Fi, USB, or LAN.
- For Wi-Fi setup, use the printer’s control panel to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
- The installer will detect the printer and complete the setup.
- Once installation is done, print a test page to confirm.
Canon MG5750 setup on macOS
Setting it up on Mac:
- On your Mac, open System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Click the “+” button to add a new printer.
- If your MG5750 appears in the list, select it and click Add.
- If it doesn’t show up, download drivers and software from the bottom of the page
- Install the driver and return to Printers & Scanners to add the printer again.
- Ensure the printer is selected as the default, if desired.
- Print a test page to confirm setup success.
Canon MG5750 setup on iPhone & iPad
Setting it up on Chromebook:
- Connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network using the printer’s control panel.
- On your Chromebook, click the time in the bottom-right corner and open Settings.
- Scroll down and select Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer to scan for nearby devices.
- If the MG5750 appears in the list, click Add to connect it automatically.
- If it doesn’t show up, click Add manually and enter a name for the printer.
- Enter the printer’s IP address (find this via the printer’s network settings).
- Choose IPP as the protocol and enter “ipp/print” as the path.
- Select Generic Inkjet Printer if no Canon driver appears.
- Click Add to complete the setup.
- Open any document or webpage, press Ctrl + P, and choose the MG5750.
Canon MG5750 setup on Android
Setting it up on iOS:
- Launch the app and allow necessary permissions such as network access and notifications.
- Tap the “+” or select Add Printer, then tap Register Printer.
- The app will search for printers on the same Wi-Fi network. Select the MG5750 when it appears.
- If the printer isn’t found, use the app’s Easy Wireless Connect instructions to connect manually.
- Once added, you can print, scan, and check ink levels directly from your iOS device.
- The MG5750 also supports Apple AirPrint, allowing printing directly from most apps without installing extra drivers.
- Just tap Share > Print, select the MG5750, and print.
Canon MG5750 setup on Chromebook
Setting it up on Chromebook:
- Connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network using the printer’s control panel.
- On your Chromebook, click the time in the bottom-right corner and open Settings.
- Scroll down and select Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer to scan for nearby devices.
- If the MG5750 appears in the list, click Add to connect it automatically.
- If it doesn’t show up, click Add manually and enter a name for the printer.
- Enter the printer’s IP address (find this via the printer’s network settings).

Troubleshooting Steps
- Check the power
- Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected
- Check the cartridges
- Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. Also make sure that there is enough ink and that the cartridges fit the model of your printer
- Check paper
- If the papers are not arranged correctly, take out the paper tray and straighten them up. Make sure there are no jams in the printer. You can now shut off the paper tray.
- Check Wi-Fi connection
- Ensure that your printer and device are connected to the same network.
- Make sure that the Wi-Fi is stable
- Reset the printer
- Resetting the printer can resolve many issues
- Update printer drivers
- If the drivers are outdated, check for newer ones
