Overview

Canon Image Class MF3200 is a monochrome laser multi-function printer. It is an all-in-one device capable of printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. It is ideally designed for schools, offices and homes. Canon Image Class MF3200 has impressive paper handling features up to 250-sheet paper tray.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Remove the outer packaging of the box and take the printer out of it.
  2. Take all the accessories from the box.
  3. Remove all the protective tape from the printer.
  4. Connect the power cord, and then press the ON button.
  5. Pour the ink.
  6. Load plain or A4 size paper.

Canon MF3200 setup on Windows

Setting up Canon ImageClass MF3200 – Windows (USB):

  1. Download the Drivers:

a. Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.

b. Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.

  1. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:

a. Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.

b. Go to the settings of your PC.

c. Search for bluetooth and devices.

d. Click on Printers and Scanners.

e. From the available printers list select your Canon ImageClass MF3200.

  1. Print the Test page:

a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Print Not Detected by computer or mobile (If Available):
  2. Solutions:
  3. a. Ensure both printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network
  4. b. Restart your printer and device
  5. c. Reinstall the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app (for mobile)
  6. d. For USB connection, ensure the cable is securely connected
  7. e. On Windows/Mac, reinstall the printer driver
  8. Paper Jam:
  9. Solutions:
  10. a. Turn off the printer
  11. b. Gently remove jammed paper from the rear tray, output slot, or inside the printer
  12. c. Check for torn paper pieces
  13. d. Restart the printer
  14. Poor Print Quality (Faded, Streaks, Missing Colors)
  15. Solution:
  16. a. Check ink levels and replace cartridges if needed
  17. b. Run Print Head Cleaning:
  18. c. Press Setup >Maintenance>Cleaning
  19. d. Perform Print Head Alignment via the same menu
  20. e. Ensure you’re using compatible paper
