Overview

Canon MAXIFY MB2320 is an all-in-one wireless inkjet printer which also offers copy, scan, fax. It is incorporated with fast print speeds, high-capacity paper trays, and mobile printing capabilities. Canon MAXIFY MB2320 supports printing from and scanning to popular cloud services like Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Take out the printer from the box.
  2. Open the document cover, remove the orange tape.
  3. Close the cover.
  4. Open the paper cassette, remove the tape from it.
  5. Open the front cover, remove the tape.
  6. Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
  7. Set language, date and time.
  8. Open the front compartment, install the ink tanks.
  9. Close the cover.
  10. Pull out the paper tray.
  11. Load paper.

Canon MB2320 setup on Windows

Setting up Canon MAXIFY MB2320 – Windows (Wifi):

  1. Prepare the printer:

a. On display select connection.

b. Choose wireless LAN connection.

c. Select WLAN setup method.

d. Choose standard setup.

e. Select your wireless network.

f. Enter password.

  1. Download the Drivers:

a. Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.

b. Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.

  1. Print the Test page:

a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

  1. Download the Drivers:

a. Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.

b. Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.

  1. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:

a. Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.

b. Go to the settings of your PC.

c. Search for bluetooth and devices.

d. Click on Printers and Scanners.

e. From the available printers list select your Canon MAXIFY MB2320.

  1. Print the Test page:

a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Printer not connecting to wifi:
  2. Possible Causes: Incorrect password, weak, signal or outdated firmware.
  3. Solutions:
  4. a. Ensure your Wi-Fi password is correct
  5. b. Place the printer close to the router
  6. c. Re-run Easy Wireless Connect
  7. d. Press Setup >Wi-Fi Setup >Easy Wireless Connect
  8. e. Restart the router and printer
  9. f. Check for firmware updates via Canon’s official website
  10. Print Not Detected by computer or mobile:
  11. Solutions:
  12. a. Ensure both printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network
  13. b. Restart your printer and device
  14. c. Reinstall the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app (for mobile)
  15. d. For USB connection, ensure the cable is securely connected
  16. e. On Windows/Mac, reinstall the printer driver
  17. Paper Jam:
  18. Solutions:
  19. a. Turn off the printer
  20. b. Gently remove jammed paper from the rear tray, output slot, or inside the printer
  21. c. Check for torn paper pieces
  22. d. Restart the printer
  23. Poor Print Quality (Faded, Streaks, Missing Colors)
  24. Solution:
  25. a. Check ink levels and replace cartridges if needed
  26. b. Run Print Head Cleaning:
  27. c. Press Setup >Maintenance>Cleaning
  28. d. Perform Print Head Alignment via the same menu
  29. e. Ensure you’re using compatible paper
