Overview
Canon LASER SHOT LBP3050 laser printer provides crisp, clean and laser-sharp output. It is included with Canon’s unique “CAPT” (Canon Advanced Printing Technology), with this groundbreaking innovation, print data processing is handled completely by a PC instead of the printer, which reduces the data processing time. In addition, CAPT can manage to use a minimal amount of memory to process huge amounts of printing data efficiently with stable output. Canon LASER SHOT LBP3050 comes with Automatic Image Refinement (AIR) can significantly enhance printing quality by smoothing the jagged edges of text, graphic objects and images that can offer an outstanding printing output.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Remove the outer packaging of the box and take the printer out of it.
- Take all the accessories from the box.
- Remove all the protective tape from the printer.
- Connect the power cord, and then press the ON button.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Install the paper.

Canon LBP3050 setup on Windows
Setting up Canon LASER SHOT LBP3050 – Windows (USB):
- Download the Drivers:
a. Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
b. Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
a. Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
b. Go to the settings of your PC.
c. Search for bluetooth and devices.
d. Click on Printers and Scanners.
e. From the available printers list select your Canon LASER SHOT LBP3050.
- Print the Test page:
a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon LASER SHOT LBP3050 – Mac (USB):
- Download Drivers:
a. Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
b. Once the installation is completed , run the file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
a. Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
b. On your Mac click on the system preference option.
c. Now click on Printer and Scanners.
d. The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon LASER SHOT LBP3050.
- Print the Test page:
a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Cannot Find Machine on Check Printer Settings Screen:
- Solutions:
- Check the Printer Settings screen appears after searching the printer by Automatic search on the Search for Printers screen, click Redetect and search for the printer again by the IP address on the Search for Printers screen.
- Paper Jam:
- Solutions:
- Turn off the printer, Gently remove jammed paper from the rear tray, output slot, or inside the printer.
- Check for torn paper pieces and Restart the printer.
- Poor Print Quality (Faded, Streaks, Missing Colors):
- Solution:
- Check ink levels and replace cartridges if needed. Run Print Head Cleaning. Press Setup >Maintenance>Cleaning, Perform Print Head Alignment via the same menu. Ensure you’re using compatible paper
