Canon PIXMA iP1880 is a photo printer featured with FINE Cartridge for fast and quality photo printing and 2 picoliter ink droplets. It is featured with the new ChromaLife 100’s FINE cartridge and Photo Paper Pro. Canon PIXMA iP1880 is a stylishly designed printer that fits perfectly in any surroundings. It delivers deep gleaming black and has a mirror finish.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Remove the outer packaging of the box and take the printer out of it.
  2. Take all the accessories from the box.
  3. Remove all the protective tape from the printer.
  4. Connect the power cord, and then press the ON button.
  5. Install the cartridges.
  6. Install the paper.

Canon iP1880 setup on Windows

Setting up Canon PIXMA iP1880 – Windows (USB):

  1. Download the Drivers:

                              Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.

                              Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.

  1. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:

                              Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.

                              Go to the settings of your PC.

                              Search for bluetooth and devices.

                              Click on Printers and Scanners.

                              From the available printers list select your Canon PIXMA iP1880.

  1. Print the Test page:

                              Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Print Not Detected by computer:
  2. Solutions:
  3. Restart your printer and device
  4. For USB connection, ensure the cable is securely connected
  5. On Windows/Mac, reinstall the printer driver
  6. Paper Jam:
  7. Solutions:
  8. Turn off the printer
  9. Gently remove jammed paper from the rear tray, output slot, or inside the printer
  10. Check for torn paper pieces
  11. Restart the printer
  12. Poor Print Quality (Faded, Streaks, Missing Colors)
  13. Solution:
  14. Check ink levels and replace cartridges if needed
  15. Run Print Head Cleaning:
  16. Press Setup >Maintenance>Cleaning
  17. Perform Print Head Alignment via the same menu
  18. Ensure you’re using compatible paper
