The Canon MAXIFY GX7150 is a high-volume, refillable MegaTank all‑in‑one inkjet printer tailored for busy home or small-business environments. It features integrated print, scan, copy, and fax capabilities—enhanced by a 50-sheet duplex ADF for efficient two‑sided document handling. With secure features like WPA3 and TLS 1.3, it balances speed, capacity, economy, and safety in a compact form factor.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

  • Take the printer out of the box.
  • Remove packaging materials
  • Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
  • Plug in the printer, and turn it on.
  • Open the front panel and install the cartridges.
  • Load preferred paper into the tray.

Canon GX7150 setup on Windows

  1. Use touchscreen to connect to Wi-Fi network.
  2. Download the software package and drivers from the bottom of the page.
  3. Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen prompts.
  4. Choose Wireless Connection when asked for a connection type.
  5. The installer will detect the printer on your network—select it and proceed.
  6. If prompted, install the driver and utility software packages.
  7. Once installed, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers to confirm your printer is listed.
  8. Print a test page to verify the installation.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check the power
  2. Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected
  3. Check the cartridges
  4. Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. Also make sure that there is enough ink and that the cartridges fit the model of your printer
  5. Check paper
  6. If the papers are not arranged correctly, take out the paper tray and straighten them up. Make sure there are no jams in the printer. You can now shut off the paper tray.
  7. Check Wi-Fi connection
  8. Ensure that your printer and device are connected to the same network.
  9. Make sure that the Wi-Fi is stable
  10. Reset the printer
  11. Resetting the printer can resolve many issues
  12. Update printer drivers
  13. If the drivers are outdated, check for newer ones
