Setting it up on Windows
- Unpack the printer and connect it to a power outlet.
- Turn on the printer and install the black ink bottles as per the manual.
- Load paper into the paper tray.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Choose your connection method:
- USB – connect the USB cable when prompted. Wi-Fi – press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the lamp flashes, then use the Canon Print app or software wizard.
- Complete the setup and install any additional software as needed.
- Print a test page to verify the installation.
Setting it up on Mac

Setting it up on Android
- Turn on the printer and ensure it’s connected to Wi-Fi.

- The app will search for printers connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Setting it up on iOS

Troubleshooting Options
- Check the power:
Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected
- Check the cartridges:
Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. There should be enough ink and cartridges should be compatible with the model of the printer
- Check paper:
If the papers are not arranged correctly, take out the paper tray and straighten them up. There should be no jams in the printer
- Check WiFi connection:
Ensure your printer and device are connected to the same network

If drivers are outdated, check for newer ones
