Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Load paper into the paper trays.

Canon G6065 setup on Windows
- Prepare the Printer
- Unbox the printer, install the print heads, fill the ink tanks, and load paper.
- Power it on and complete the initial settings using the printer screen.
- Connect to Wi-Fi
- On the printer, go to Setup > Wi-Fi Settings > Wireless LAN Setup.
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Install Canon Software
- Driver Download Links are in the bottom of the page.
- Enter “PIXMA G6065”, download the Windows software package, and launch the installer.
- Follow Setup Prompts
- Choose Wireless Connection when prompted.
- Complete the installation and allow the installer to detect your printer.
- Confirm and Test
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners to ensure the printer is listed.
- Print a test page to verify everything is working.
Canon G6065 setup on macOS
- Download macOS Driver

- Connect Printer to Wi-Fi
- Use the printer’s control panel to access Wi-Fi Settings, and connect to your Wi-Fi network.
- Add Printer on Your Mac
- Open System Settings > Printers & Scanners, click the + button.
- Select Canon G6065 from the list and click Add.
- Print a Test Page
- Open any document and print to ensure the setup is successful.
Canon G6065 setup on iPhone & iPad
- Ensure Same Wi-Fi Network
- Your iPhone or iPad and the G6065 must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Use AirPrint
- Open the document or photo you want to print.
- Tap Share, select Print, and choose Canon G6065 from the printer list.
- Tap Print to start printing.
Canon G6065 setup on Android
- Install Canon PRINT App
- Download Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY from the Google Play Store.
- Connect to the Printer
- Open the app, tap Add Printer, and follow the steps for Connect via Wireless Router.
- Select your printer and complete the setup.
- Start Printing or Scanning
- You can now print documents and images or scan directly from your Android device.
Canon G6065 setup on Chromebook
- Ensure Printer is on Wi-Fi
- The G6065 should already be connected to the same Wi-Fi as your Chromebook.
- Add Printer in ChromeOS
- On your Chromebook, go to Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer. Your Canon G6065 should automatically appear.
- Select it and click Add.
- Test Printing
- Open a document or webpage, select Print, choose your printer, and print.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Make sure your printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Restart the printer and device if it is not detected.
- Keep your printer’s firmware updated via the control panel.
- Use the Canon PRINT app or setup utility if wireless setup fails.
