Canon G500 setup on Windows
Driver Installation

- Download the appropriate driver for your version of Windows.
- Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Connection Setup
- Wireless (Wi-Fi) Connection:
- On the printer, press the Wi-Fi button until the indicator light starts flashing.
- Use the Canon installer on your PC and select Wireless Connection.
- Follow the prompts to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- USB Connection:
- Connect the printer to your PC using a USB cable.
- The system will automatically detect the printer and finalize the installation.

Driver Installation

- Install the driver by following the on-screen instructions.
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and click the + button to add the printer.
Connection Setup
- Wireless (Wi-Fi) Connection:
- On the printer, access Wireless LAN Setup from the menu.

- Ensure your Mac is connected to the same network.
- USB Connection:

Canon G500 setup on iPhone & iPad
Using AirPrint (No App Required):
- Ensure the G500 is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS device.
- Open the document or image you want to print.
- Tap the Share button, then select Print.
- Choose the G500 from the list of printers and tap Print.
Using the Canon PRINT App:
- Download the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app from the App Store.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer.

Using the Canon PRINT App:
- Download the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app from the Google Play Store.
- Open the app and follow the instructions to add the G500 printer.
Wi-Fi Direct Printing:
- Enable Wi-Fi Direct on the printer via the settings menu.
- Connect your Android device to the printer’s Wi-Fi network.
- Use the Canon PRINT app or Android’s native print options to manage your tasks.

Direct Printing:
- Ensure your Chromebook and G500 are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
