Canon G4911 setup on Windows
- Unbox the printer
- Plug it into the power source
- Fill ink tanks as per the instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Turn on the printer
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the Wi-Fi lamp flashes, then connect via WPS or manual setup using the Canon PRINT app.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Launch the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.
- Once setup is complete, print a test page to confirm normal operation

- Unbox the printer
- Plug it into the power source
- Fill ink tanks as per the instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Turn on the printer
- Press and hold WiFi button until the WiFi lamp flashes, then connect via WPS or manual setup manual Wi-Fi setup via the printer’s LCD menu.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Open the installer and follow onscreen instructions to complete the driver and Canon utilities setup
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Click the + button, select the PIXMA G4911 from the list, and click Add·
- Print a test document to confirm successful setup.

- Unbox the printer
- Plug it into the power source
- Fill ink tanks as per the instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Turn on the printer
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the Wi-Fi lamp flashes, then connect via WPS or manual setup using the Canon PRINT app.
- Download Canon Print app from App store
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi on your iPhone/iPad.
- Select the same Wi-Fi network the printer is on.
- Print from iOS:
- Open the file or photo.
- Tap Share > Print.
- Select Canon G4911 from available printers.
- Tap Print to ensure normal operation
Canon G4911 setup on Android
- Unbox the printer
- Plug it into the power source
- Fill ink tanks as per the instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Turn on the printer
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the Wi-Fi lamp flashes, then connect via WPS or manual setup using the Canon PRINT app.
- Download Canon Print app from Google Playstore
- Give necessary permissions
- Tap Add Printer and select Register Printer
- Choose Connect via Wireless Router and follow the prompts.
- Confirm Connection: Once connected, the app will show G4911
- Print a Test Page: Use the app to print a photo or document to verify setup.

- Unbox the printer
- Plug it into the power source
- Fill ink tanks as per the instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Turn on the printer
- Press and hold WiFi button until the WiFi lamp flashes, then connect via WPS or manual setup manual WiFi setup via the printer’s LCD menu.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Open the installer and follow onscreen instructions to complete the driver and Canon utilities setup
- Open Settings on your Chromebook.
- Go to Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer
- G4911 should appear if connected to the same network.
- Click Add.
- Print Test Page: Open any document, press Ctrl + P, select the G4911, and print a test page.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Check the power:
- Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected
- Check the cartridges:
- Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. There should be enough ink and cartridges should be compatible with the model of the printer
- Check paper:
- If the papers are not arranged correctly, take out the paper tray and straighten them up. There should be no jams in the printer
- Check WiFi connection:
- Ensure your printer and device are connected to the same network
- Make sure that the WiFi connection is stable
- Reset the printer:
- Resetting the printer can resolve many issues
- Update printer drivers:
- If drivers are outdated, check for newer ones
