Overview
The Canon PIXMA G4511 is a 4-in-1 wireless MegaTank printer that supersedes the G4510. While nearly identical in hardware to the G4510, it was often released as a revised bundle, sometimes including additional ink or updated firmware for improved stability. It is a “complete” office solution for home users, combining the cost-saving benefits of refillable ink tanks with the essential productivity features of a traditional office printer.

- Professional Output: Uses Pigment Black ink for sharp, smudge-resistant text and dye-based colors for vibrant, borderless photos up to A4 size.

Canon G4511 setup on Windows
- Prepare the Printer
- Unbox the printer, remove packaging, and fill the ink tanks.
- Power on the printer and load plain paper.
- Download Drivers
- Driver Download Links are in the bottom of the page.
- Search for Canon G4511, download and run the Windows driver.
- Connect the Printer
- Choose Wireless Connection, and use Easy Wireless Connect from the printer screen.
- Follow on-screen steps in the installer to connect to your Wi-Fi.
- Add the Printer (if needed)
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners
- Click Add a printer, then select Canon G4511.

- Install Software
- Driver Download Links are in the bottom of the page.
- Connect via Wi-Fi
- On the printer, use Wireless LAN Setup > Easy Wireless Connect.
- Run the installer and follow prompts to complete setup.
- Add Printer to Mac
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners
- Click the + button and select Canon G4511.
Canon G4511 setup on iPhone & iPad
The G4511 supports AirPrint, no app needed!
- Ensure Wi-Fi Connection
- Make sure both your iOS device and printer are on the same Wi-Fi.
- Print Using AirPrint
- Open a photo, email, or document.
- Tap the Share icon > Print > Select Printer (Canon G4511)
- Tap Print.
Canon G4511 setup on Android
- Download Canon PRINT App
- Install Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY from the Google Play Store.
- Connect the Printer
- Make sure your printer is on and connected to Wi-Fi.
- Open the Canon PRINT app, tap Add Printer, and follow the steps.
- Print Easily
- Open the app, select your file, and print wirelessly.
Canon G4511 setup on Chromebook
- Connect Printer to Wi-Fi
- Use the printer’s Wi-Fi setup to connect it to your router.
- Add Printer to Chromebook
- On your Chromebook, go to Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer, select Canon G4511, and confirm.
- Print
- Open a file or webpage > press Ctrl + P > choose Canon G4511.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Printer not found?
- Make sure it’s on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Connection drops?
- Reboot your router and printer.
- Slow printing?
- Move the printer closer to your router or use USB.
