Overview
The Canon PIXMA G4110 is a versatile, high-volume 4-in-1 Wireless MegaTank printer. It is the more advanced sibling of the G3000 series, adding a Fax function and an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), making it a “workhorse” for home offices or small businesses that need to scan or copy multi-page documents efficiently.

- Auto Document Feeder (ADF): Includes a 20-sheet ADF to scan or copy multi-page documents automatically, saving you from lifting the lid for every page.
- Massive Page Yield: Using the refillable MegaTank system, it can print up to 6,000 pages in black and 7,000 pages in color from a full set of GI-190 ink bottles.
- Full Wireless Connectivity: Supports printing from smartphones and tablets via the Canon PRINT app, Apple AirPrint, and Mopria (Android). It also includes PIXMA Cloud Link for printing directly from services like Google Drive and Dropbox.
- Hybrid Ink System: Features pigment black ink for professional, sharp text and dye-based colors for vibrant, borderless photos (up to A4).

- Download and Install Drivers:

- Click on “Download” to obtain the setup file.
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- Connect the Printer:

- During the installation process, select “Wireless LAN Connection” when prompted.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- Ensure your computer is connected to the same network as the printer.

- Install Canon PRINT App:
- Download the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app from the App Store.
- Connect the Printer:

- Wireless Connection:
- Ensure your Chromebook and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Click the status tray (bottom right corner) on your Chromebook.
- Select the gear icon to open Settings.
- Scroll down and click on “Advanced.”
- Under “Printing,” click on “Printers.”
- Click on “Add Printer.”
- Your Chromebook should detect the Canon PIXMA G4110. Select it and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Scanning:
- For scanning documents, use the Canon PRINT app on mobile devices.
- On Windows and macOS, utilize the IJ Scan Utility installed with the printer drivers.
- Chromebook users can scan documents by connecting the printer via USB or ensuring both devices are on the same network. Then, access the scan function through the Chrome OS settings.
- Firmware Updates:
- Regularly check for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance.
- Updates can typically be performed through the Canon PRINT app or the printer’s settings menu.
