Overview
The G3625 MegaTank bundle is an excellent value for anyone needing high-volume, low-cost colour printing at home. It offers strong yields and integrated scanning/copying, but it’s less suitable for users who need fast speed, auto-duplex, or office-grade automation.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Remove packaging materials.
- Remove any protective packaging tape (usually in Red or Orange Color).
- Open the panel and install the cartridges.
- Wait for the carriage to move to the centre
- Load supported preferred paper into the tray.

Canon G3625 setup on Windows
- Plug in the power cord and turn the printer on.
- Download & Install Printer Driver
- Search for PIXMA G3625.
- Download the full driver & software package for Windows.
- Use Installation CD (if provided)
- Insert CD and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Connect the Printer to Your Computer
- For Wireless Setup
- Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp flashes.
- On your computer, run the Canon setup file you downloaded.
- Choose “Wireless Connection”.
- The setup will auto-detect your printer. Follow on-screen instructions to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
- For USB Setup
- Connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer.
- Run the Canon setup file and select “USB Connection” when prompted.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete setup.
- Complete the Installation
- Wait for Windows to finish installing the driver.
- Print a test page to confirm everything works.
Canon G3625 setup on macOS
- Power on the printer.
- Download Drivers for Mac:
- Search for PIXMA G3625.
- Select macOS version (e.g., macOS 13, 14) from the dropdown.
- Download:
- CUPS printer driver
- IJ Network Tool
- Canon IJ Setup
- Install the Software
- Open each downloaded .pkg file and follow the prompts.
- Allow any permissions if prompted during installation.
- Connect the Printer
- Wireless Setup (Recommended)
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp starts flashing.
- Open Canon IJ Network Tool from your Mac.
- It will detect the printer and allow you to connect it to your Wi-Fi.
- Follow the prompts and enter your Wi-Fi password.
- USB Setup
- Connect the printer to your Mac via USB.
- macOS may automatically detect and install it.
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Click Add Printer, select Canon G3625, and click Add.
- Print Test Page
- Try printing a test page to ensure everything is working.
Canon G3625 setup on iPhone & iPad
iOS only support Wireless Connections
- Connect to the Wifi:
- Turn on your Canon MAXIFY BX110.
- Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.
- Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.
- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Go to the app store.
- Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.
- Download and install the app.
- Add printer:
- Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
- Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
- App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon MAXIFY BX110 from the available list.
- Click on Add printer.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Canon G3625 setup on Android
- Prepare the Printer
- Turn on the printer.
- Ensure ink is filled and paper is loaded.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi light is flashing (If not, press and hold the Wi-Fi button until it starts flashing).
- Download Canon PRINT App
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Search for Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY.
- Download and install the app.
- Connect Your Printer to Android via Wi-Fi
- Connect via Easy Wireless Setup (No Router Needed Initially)
- Open Canon PRINT app.
- Tap “Add Printer” → “Register Printer” → “Connect via wireless router”.
- Follow the in-app instructions:
- It may ask to temporarily connect to the printer’s Wi-Fi.
- Your phone will auto-connect to the printer’s hotspot.
- Then select your home Wi-Fi and enter the password.
- Once setup is complete, your printer will reconnect to your Wi-Fi, and your phone will switch back too.
- Print from Android
- Open any document, photo, or webpage.
- Tap Share → Print → Select Canon G3625 as printer.
- Tap the Print icon.
Canon G3625 setup on Chromebook
- Power on the printer.
- Make sure ink is filled and paper is loaded.
- Connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until it starts flashing.
- Wait for it to connect to your Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi light will stay solid).
- Connect Chromebook to Same Wi-Fi
- Make sure your Chromebook is on the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
- Add the Printer on Chromebook
- On your Chromebook, click the clock in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Settings
- Scroll down and click Advanced.
- Under Printing, select Printers.
- Click Add Printer.
- Your Canon G3625 should show up automatically. Click Add.
- Print a Test Page
- Open a document or web page.
- Press Ctrl + P, choose Canon G3625, and click Print
Troubleshooting Steps
- Printer Not Powering On
- No lights or sounds
- Ensure the power cable is firmly plugged into the wall and printer.
- Try a different power outlet.
- Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds.
- If still dead, unplug for 10 minutes, then retry.
- No lights or sounds
- Wi-Fi Connection Issues
- Printer not connecting to Wi-Fi or computer not detecting printer.
- Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on printer:
- Hold the Wi-Fi button until power light flashes → press Black or Color button → Wi-Fi light should blink and then become steady.
- Ensure your printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Reinstall the printer driver on your device or use the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app (for mobile).
- Reset network settings:
- Hold Stop until the alarm lamp flashes 21 times, then release to reset network settings.
- Printer not connecting to Wi-Fi or computer not detecting printer.
- Poor Print Quality (Lines, Faded, Smudges)
- Blurry or streaky prints
- Print Head Cleaning:
- Windows: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Canon G3620 series > Printing Preferences > Maintenance tab > Cleaning.
- Mac:
- Use System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > G3625 > Options & Supplies > Utility.
- Perform Deep Cleaning if quality is still bad.
- Run Print Head Alignment.
- Check ink levels. If ink is low, refill tanks with Canon GI-61 ink.
- Paper Jam or Feed Issues
- Power off printer.
- Open front and rear covers to inspect for jammed paper.
- Gently remove paper, avoiding any rips.
- Check for any debris inside.
- Reinsert paper properly (aligned and not overfilled). • Use only recommended paper sizes and types
