Canon PIXMA G3590 delivers high quality documents and photos with fast speed. It is easy to use, refillable and Wi-Fi-equipped 3-in-1 home printer. Canon PIXMA G3590 can deliver up to 8,100 prints, making running costs refreshingly low compared to cartridge based printers.

Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Take all the accessories and the printer itself from the box.
  2. Remove all the packaging materials.
  3. Remove the protective tapes.
  4. Press on the power button to turn the printer on.
  5. Unpack the ink cartridges and install them.
  6. Load the paper.

Canon G3590 setup on Windows

Setting up Canon PIXMA G3590 Windows (Wifi):

  1. Prepare the printer:

Press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the green light flashes. 

Press the Color button, then press the Wi-Fi button again to enter the Cableless Setup Mode.

Your printer is connected.

  1. Download the Drivers:

Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.

Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.

  1. Print the Test page:

Print a test page to confirm the setup.

USB Setup (Wired Setup):

  1. Download the Drivers:

Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.

Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.

  1. Connect the USB Cable to your printer:

Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.

Go to the settings of your PC.

Search for bluetooth and devices.

Click on Printers and Scanners.

From the available printers list select your Canon PIXMA G3590.

  1. Print the Test page:

Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check the power:
    • Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected.
  2. Check the cartridges:
    • Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. Also, ensure that there is enough ink.
  3. Check paper:
    • If the papers are not arranged correctly, take them out of the paper tray and straighten them up. Make sure that the paper tray is not jammed. You can now shut off the paper tray.
  4. Check Wi-Fi Connection:
    • Ensure that your printer and device are connected to the same network.
    • Make sure that the WIFI connection is stable.
  5. Update the Driver:
    • Outdated drivers may cause problems.
    • Check for the latest driver updates for your printer model.
    • Download and install the updated driver.
