Canon G3111 setup on Windows
- Unbox the printer
- Install ink tanks as per given instructions
- Power the printer on by connecting it to a power source
- Connect via USB or WiFi
- For USB, plug the cable into your PC.
- For Wi-Fi, press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the LED flashes, then press the WPS button on your router.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Follow on screen instructions to complete driver installation and connect the printer
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on G3111, and select “Set as default printer”.
- Print a test page to confirm normal operation
Canon G3111 setup on macOS
- Unbox the printer
- Install ink tanks as per given instructions
- Power the printer on by connecting it to a power source
- Connect via USB or WiFi
- For USB plug the cable into your PC
- For WiFi, press and hold the printer’s Wi-Fi button until the LED flashes, then press the WPS button on the router. Wait for the connection light to stabilise.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Open the downloaded package and follow on screen instructions to install the printer software
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners, click the “+” button, select “Canon G3111” from the list, and click Add.
- Print a test page to confirm successful operation
Canon G3111 setup on iPhone & iPad
- Unbox the printer
- Install ink tanks as per given instructions
- Power the printer on by connecting it to a power source
- Connect via WiFi
- For Wi-Fi, press and hold the printer’s WIFI’s button until the LED flashes, then press the WPS button on the router. Wait for the connection to stabilize.
- Open the App Store and install the Canon Print app
- Install and give necessary permissions
- Tap Add Printer > Register Printer > Printer Setup > follow the prompts to detect and add your G3111.
- Print a test page to confirm normal operation
Canon G3111 setup on Android
- Unbox the printer
- Install ink tanks as per given instructions
- Power the printer on by connecting it to a power source
- Connect via WiFi
- For WiFi, press and hold the printer’s WiFi’s button until the LED flashes, then press the WPS button on the router. Wait for the connection to stabilise
- Open the Google Play Store and install the Canon Print app
- Install the app and give necessary permissions
- Tap Add Printer > Register Printer > Printer Setup > Connect via Wireless Router.
- The app will search for the G3111 on the network. When found, tap on it to connect.
- Print a test page to confirm normal operation
Canon G3111 setup on Chromebook
- Unbox the printer
- Install ink tanks as per given instructions
- Power the printer on by connecting it to a power source
- Connect via WiFi
- For WiFi, press and hold the printer’s WiFi’s button until the LED flashes, then press the WPS button on the router. Wait for the connection to stabilise
- Click the clock in the bottom-right corner > Settings
- In Settings, click Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer. If the G3111 is on the same network, it should appear automatically. Select it and click Add.
- If prompted, select a generic Canon or IPP driver.
- Print a test page to confirm normal operation.
