Overview
Canon G2930 is a versatile printer which offers printing, copying, scanning. It is a high efficiency ink tank printer and it is also affordable. Canon G2930 is compact and it is especially designed for homes, and small businesses. It is a part of Canon’s G-Series MegaTank printers, designed for high-volume, low-cost printing without compromising on print quality.

Canon G2930 setup on Windows
- Power ON the Printer:
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
- Connect the Printer to Your PC:
- Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your PC.
- Download Drivers:
- Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page.
- When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Print the Test page:
- To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notepad.
Canon G2930 setup on macOS
- Power ON the Printer:
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
- Connect the Printer to Your Mac:
- Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your Mac.
- Download Drivers:
- Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Select your macOS version from the dropdown (e.g., macOS Ventura, Monterey, etc.).
- When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Add Printer to Mac:
- Go to system settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Click + to add a printer.
- Mac will automatically detect Canon G2930 via USB.
- Select it and click Add.
Canon G2930 setup on Chromebook
- Power ON the Printer:
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
- Connect the Printer to Your Chromebook:
- Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your Chromebook.
- Add printer:
- Click on the clock icon on the bottom right of your screen.
- Go to settings.
- Click on Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Your Canon G2930 should appear in the list.
- Click on Set up.
- Print the Test page:
- To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notepad.
