Overview
Canon G2830 is an all rounder inkjet printer which is capable of printing, copying, and scanning. It is known for its cost efficiency. Canon G2830 is a compact especially designed for small spaces. Its sleek design makes it suitable for homes and small offices. It comes with a refillable ink tank system.

- Print resolution is up to 4800 x 1200 dpi (dots per inch).
- Print speed for black is up to 11.0 ipm (images per minute) and for coloured it is up to 6.0 ipm.
- Flatbed Scanner type.
- Borderless Printing.
- Scanning resolution is up to 600 x 1200 dpi (optical).
- First Print Out Time (FPOT) for black is 9 seconds and for coloured is 14 seconds.
- Supports various paper types and sizes (including envelopes and photo paper).

Canon G2830 setup on Windows
- Power ON the Printer:
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
- Connect the Printer to Your PC:
- Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your PC.
- Download Drivers:
- Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page.
- When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Print the Test page:
- To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notepad.
Canon G2830 setup on macOS
- Power ON the Printer:
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
- Connect the Printer to Your Mac:
- Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your Mac.
- Download Drivers:
- Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Select your macOS version from the dropdown (e.g., macOS Ventura, Monterey, etc.).
- When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Add Printer to Mac:
- Go to system settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Click + to add a printer.
- Mac will automatically detect Canon G2830 via USB.
- Select it and click Add.
