Canon G2610 setup on Windows
- Unbox the printer
- Connect the printer to your Windows PC using the provided USB cable.
- Power on the printer
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Follow the on-screen installation prompts to complete driver installation.
- Once installed, the printer will appear in your ‘Devices and Printers’ list, ready for use
- Print a test page to ensure normal operation
Canon G2610 setup on macOS
- Unbox the printer
- Connect the printer to your Mac using the supplied USB cable.
- Turn on the printer.
- On your Mac, go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Click the ‘+’ button to add a new printer.
- Your Mac should detect the Canon G2610 automatically. Select it and click Add.
- If drivers are needed, download them from the bottom of the page
Canon G2610 setup on Android
- Unbox the printer
- Use a USB OTG (On-The-Go) adapter to connect your Android phone/tablet to the G2610 via USB cable.
- Install the Canon Print Service app from the Google Play Store.
- Open a document or image, tap Print, then select Canon G2610 if detected.
Canon G2610 setup on Chromebook
- Unbox the printer
- Connect the Canon G2610 to your Chromebook using a USB cable.
- Turn on the printer.
- Open Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers on your Chromebook.
- Click Add Printer. If the G2610 appears, try adding it manually.
- Canon doesn’t officially support Chrome OS for this model, so full functionality (like scanning or color management) may not work. User may only get basic printing.
