The Canon G2520 is a high-performance ink tank printer designed for cost-effective and high-volume printing. This step-by-step guide will walk you through the setup process for Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and ChromeOS devices.

- Replaceable Maintenance Cartridge: Unlike many older tank printers, the G2520 has a user-replaceable maintenance cartridge (MC-G02), which collects waste ink and prevents the need for professional servicing when it gets full.
- Creative Printing: Supports borderless photo printing (up to A4) and can handle custom media like magnetic paper, restickable photo paper, and banners up to 1.2 meters long.

Canon G2520 setup on Windows
- Unbox and Prepare the Printer
- Unbox the Canon G2520 and remove all protective packaging.
- Plug in the power cable and turn on the printer.
- Fill the ink tanks with the supplied ink and load paper into the tray.
- Install Printer Drivers
- Driver Download Links are in the bottom of the page.
- Download the latest Windows drivers and run the setup file.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- Connect via USB
The Canon G2520 does not support wireless connectivity, so you must connect via USB:- Use a USB cable to connect the printer to your PC.
- Windows will automatically detect and install the printer.
- Add Printer to Windows
- Open Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Click Add a Printer or Scanner, then select Canon G2520.
- Click Add Device to complete the setup.

- Install the drivers and restart your Mac if required.
- Connect via USB
Since the Canon G2520 does not support Wi-Fi, you must use a USB connection:- Plug the USB cable from the printer into your Mac.
- MacOS will automatically detect the printer and install necessary drivers.
- Add Printer to Mac
- Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Click the + button to add a printer.
- Select Canon G2520 and click Add.
Canon G2520 setup on Chromebook
Since the Canon G2520 requires a USB connection, you need a Chromebook with USB support.
- Connect Printer to Chromebook
- Plug the USB cable from the printer into your Chromebook.
- Add Printer to ChromeOS
- Open Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer and select Canon G2520.
- Print from Chromebook
- Open the document or webpage you want to print.
- Press Ctrl + P to open the print menu.
- Select Canon G2520 and click Print.
Your Canon G2520 is now set up for printing on ChromeOS!
