Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Unbox the printer
- Fill the ink tanks as per given instructions
- Load plain paper in the load tray
- Turn on the printer

- Unbox the printer
- Fill the ink tanks as per given instructions
- Load plain paper in the load tray
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Run the installer and follow on screen instructions, selecting USB connection when prompted
- Verify successful setup by printing a test page
Canon MegaTank G2260 setup on macOS
- Unbox the printer
- Fill the ink tanks as per given instructions
- Load plain paper in the load tray
- Turn on the printer
- Use the provided USB cable to connect the printer to the Mac
- Download and install drivers from the bottom of the page
- Open the downloaded file and follow onscreen instructions
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Click the + button to add the Canon PIXMA G2260 from the list and click Add.
- Print a test page to ensure smooth operation
Canon MegaTank G2260 setup on iPhone & iPad
- Unbox the printer
- Fill the ink tanks as per given instructions
- Load plain paper in the load tray
- Power on the printer
Since the G2260 does not support wireless, connect it via Lightning to USB Camera Adapter
- Install the Canon Print app from the app store
- Open the app and give necessary permissions
- The app should automatically detect the printer via USB
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
- Open a documents, tap share, select Canon Print, and tap Print
Canon MegaTank G2260 setup on Android
- Unbox the printer
- Fill the ink tanks as per given instructions
- Load plain paper in the load tray
- Power on the printer
- Since the G2260 does not support wireless, connect it to your Android device using a USB OTG (On-The-Go) adapter and the printer’s USB cable.
- Install Canon Print from the Google PlayStore
- Open the app.
- Your printer will be detected automatically by the USB
- Follow on screen prompts and give permissions
- Select G2260 when it appears
- Print a test page to confirm smooth operation
Canon MegaTank G2260 setup on Chromebook
- Unbox the printer
- Fill the ink tanks as per given instructions
- Load plain paper in the load tray
- Power on the printer
- Use the provided USB cable to connect the printer to your Chromebook
- Wait for a few moments till the device is recognised
- Click the clock on the bottom right of the screen
- Go to Settings>Advanced>Printing>Printers
- If Canon G2260 appears, click add
- If not, click Add Printer, enter a name, and select the USB printer.
- Press Ctrl+P, select G2260 and click Print
- Print a test page to confirm operation
