- Unbox and install the printer
- Plug the printer into the power source and turn it on by pressing the power button
- Install ink cartridges
- Load paper into the tray
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Connect the printer to the computer for installation using the USB cable
- After installation, print a test page to ensure smooth operation

- Unbox and install the printer
- Plug the printer and turn it on
- Install ink cartridges following the instructions provided
- Load paper into the tray
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Open the software and follow onscreen instructions
- Connect the Mac to the USB cable provided
- Once installation is complete, print a test page to ensure smooth operation
Canon MegaTank G2170 setup on iPhone & iPad
- Unbox and install the printer
- Plug the printer to the power outlet and turn it on
- Install ink cartridges
- Load paper in the paper tray
- Follow on screen instructions to connect the printer to the WiFi network using the printer display
- Download Canon Print app from the App store
- Open the app, tap Add Printer, and select G2170.
- Print a test page to confirm smooth operation
Canon MegaTank G2170 setup on Android
- Unbox and install the printer
- Plug the printer and turn it on
- Install ink cartridges following the instructions provided
- Load paper into the tray
- Download the Canon Print app from PlayStore
- Install the app on the phone
- Give necessary permissions if asked
- Open the Canon Print app and select add printer
- The app will search for the G2170 on the same Wi-Fi network
- Select your printer
- Once connected, print a test page to ensure normal operation
Canon MegaTank G2170 setup on Chromebook
- Unbox and install the printer
- Plug the printer and turn it on
- Install ink cartridges following the instructions provided
- Load paper into the tray
- Plug the printer in the Chromebook via USB cable
- On your Chromebook, open Settings and go to the advanced section
- Under printing, click on printers and click add printer
- Canon printer should appear in the list of available printers
- Print test page to ensure operation
