Overview
Canon G2070 is a multifunctional color ink tank printer. It is designed for high volume printing at a low running cost. Canon G2070 is featured with refillable ink tanks instead of cartridge which is more easy to maintain. It is a high page yield printer, the included ink bottles can print a high volume of pages, which significantly lowers the cost per print.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take all the accessories and the printer itself from the box.
- Remove all the packaging materials.
- Remove the protective tapes.
- Press on the power button to turn the printer on.
- Install the ink.
- Load the paper.

Canon MegaTank G2070 setup on Windows
WIFI Setup
- Prepare the printer:
- Go to the printer screen, click on the setup button.
- Select wireless LAN setup and press ok.
- Select the other setup.
- Select cable less setup.
- Select your wireless network from the available list.
- Enter the password.
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
- Go to the settings of your PC.
- Search for Bluetooth and devices.
- Click on Printers and Scanners.
- From the available printers list select your Canon G2070.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wi-Fi/Wireless:
- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.
- Prepare the printer:
- Go to the printer screen, click on the setup button.
- Select wireless LAN setup and press ok.
- Select the other setup.
- Select cable less setup.
- Select your wireless network from the available list.
- Enter the password.
- Add Printer:
- Open the system preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your printer and click Add.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Wired/USB Connection:
- Connect the printer to USB Cable:
- Plug the USB Cable into the printer and the other end to your Chromebook.
- Add printer:
- Click the Settings icon.
- In the settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
- Click Printing and then printers.
- Click on the Add Printer option.
- Your Canon G2070 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
- Click Add.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

- Connect to the Wifi:
- Turn on your Canon G2070.
- Make sure your iPhone/iPad is connected to the secure internet connection.
- Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.
- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Go to the app store.
- Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.
- Download and install the app.
- Add printer:
- Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
- Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
- App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon G2070 from the available list.
- Click on Add printer.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Download the app from the play store.
- Add the printer on the app:
- Click on the add icon on the phone.
- Now click on the register printer.
- Select your Canon G2070.
- Now the printer is installed on your phone.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wireless/Wifi Connection:
- Connect the printer to Wifi connection:
- Choose your wifi connection from the available networks.
- Enter the password.
- Wait until the printer displays connected.
- Add Printer:
- Click the Settings icon.
- In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
- Click Printing and then Printers.
- Your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4251i should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
- Click Add.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Wired/USB Connection:
- Connect the printer to USB Cable:
- Plug the USB Cable into the printer and the other end to your Chromebook.
- Add printer:
