Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Remove packaging materials.
- Plug in the printer, and turn it on.
- Open the panel and install the cartridges.
- Load preferred paper into the tray.

Canon MegaTank G2030 setup on Windows
- Download drivers and software package from the bottom of the page
- Plug the USB cable from the printer into your computer. Windows should detect the printer.
- Launch the driver installation file and follow on-screen prompts to complete setup.
- Once installed, print a test page to verify successful setup and ink flow.
Canon MegaTank G2030 setup on macOS
- Download drivers and software package from the bottom of the page
- Plug the USB cable into the printer and your Mac.
- Open the downloaded file and follow the installation prompts to complete setup.
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners, click the “+” icon, and select your Canon G2030.
- Print a test page to confirm successful installation and functionality.
Canon MegaTank G2030 setup on iPhone & iPad
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the App Store and download the Canon Print app.
- Use a Lightning-to-USB adapter to connect the printer via cable.
- Launch the app and accept any permissions it requests.
- The app will detect the Canon G2030 through the USB connection.
- Follow on-screen steps to complete setup.
- Approve any prompts asking for access to the USB device.
- Choose a photo or document in the app and tap Print.
Canon MegaTank G2030 setup on Android
- Use a USB OTG (On-The-Go) adapter to connect the printer’s USB cable to your Android device.
- Download and install the Canon Print app from the Google Play Store.
- Open the app and accept the permissions it requests.
- The app should automatically detect the connected G2030 via USB. Tap to register the printer.
- If prompted, allow USB communication between your phone and the printer.
- Select a document or photo from your phone and tap Print in the Canon app.
- Confirm setup by printing a test page or photo.
Canon MegaTank G2030 setup on Chromebook
- Plug the USB cable from the Canon G2030 into your Chromebook.
- On your Chromebook, click the time in the lower-right corner, then select Settings.
- Scroll down and click Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer, and your Canon G2030 should appear in the list. Select it and click Add.
- If prompted, select a generic or compatible driver, as Canon may not provide a specific driver for ChromeOS.
- Open a document and print to ensure the printer is working correctly.
