Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Remove all packaging materials and protective tapes from the printer.
- Open the ink tank covers and fill them with the provided GI-71 ink bottles
- Plug the power cord into the printer and turn it on using the power button.
- Place preferred paper size into the rear paper tray.

- Use a USB cable to connect the printer to a Windows PC.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions for installation.
- Once installed, print a test page to ensure everything is working.

- Use a USB cable to connect the printer to your Mac.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, click the ”+” button, and select the Canon G1932. Once installed, print a test page to verify setup.
Canon MegaTank G1932 setup on Chromebook
- Use a USB cable to connect the printer to your Chromebook.
- Open Settings on your Chromebook, scroll down to Advanced, and click on Printing. Then click Printers and select Add Printer.
- Canon G1932 should appear in the list of available printers. Select it.
- Print a test page to confirm normal operation
