Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Remove all protective packaging, tapes, and plastic from the printer.
- Open the ink tank covers and fill them with the provided GI-790 ink bottles.
- Plug in the power cable and turn on the printer by pressing the power button.
- Place preferred paper size into the rear paper tray.

Canon MegaTank G1930 setup on Windows
- Remove all packaging, tapes, and plastic from the printer
- Open the ink tank covers and fill the ink tanks with the provided GI-790 ink bottles, following the instructions.
- Plug in the power cord and press the power button to turn on the printer.
- Place preferred paper size into the rear paper tray.
- Use a USB cable to connect the printer to your Windows PC.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Run the installation software, and follow on-screen instructions for print head alignment and setup.
- After setup, print a test page to confirm everything is working.

- Use a USB cable to connect the printer to your Mac.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, then click the + button to add the printer.
- Print a test page to ensure proper setup.
Canon MegaTank G1930 setup on Chromebook
- Open the ink tank covers and fill them with the provided GI-790 ink bottle.
- Plug in the power cord and turn on the printer.
- Place preferred paper size into the rear paper tray.
- Use a USB cable to connect the printer to your Chromebook.
- Click on the time in the bottom-right corner, then select the Settings gear icon.
- In Settings, scroll down to Advanced and click on Printing. Then, click Printers and select Add Printer.
- Choose the Canon G1910 from the list of available printers.
- Print a test page to confirm everything is working properly.
