Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Remove all packaging materials and protective tapes from the printer.
- Open the ink tank covers, pour ink into the corresponding tanks using the supplied bottles, and close the covers securely.
- Plug in the power cord, press the power button, and wait for the printer to initialize.
- Open the rear tray and load plain paper, adjusting the guides to fit the paper size.

- Plug the USB cable into the printer and your Windows PC.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- After installation, print a test page to confirm successful setup.
- Go to “Devices and Printers” on your PC to ensure the G1910 is set as the default printer.
Canon MegaTank G1910 setup on macOS
- Plug the USB cable into both the printer and your Mac.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Open the downloaded file, follow the installation prompts, and add the printer in “System Settings” > “Printers & Scanners.”
- Run a test print to confirm successful setup and connectivity.
Canon MegaTank G1910 setup on iPhone & iPad
- Use a Lightning to USB Camera Adapter to connect the printer’s USB cable to your iOS device.
- Download the Canon Print app from the App Store.
- Launch the app and allow necessary permissions. It should detect the printer through the USB connection.
- Complete the on-screen steps in the app.
- Select a photo or document and print to confirm setup.

- Use a USB OTG (On-The-Go) adapter to connect the printer’s USB cable to your Android device.
- Download and install the Canon Print app from the Google Play Store.
- Launch the app and allow permissions. It should detect the printer via USB.
- Complete setup as instructed by the app.
- Try printing a photo or document to confirm the setup.

- Plug the USB cable into the printer and then into your Chromebook.
- Click the clock in the lower right > select the gear icon for “Settings.”
- Scroll to “Advanced” > “Printing” > “Printers” > “Add Printer.”
- It should appear automatically under available printers. Click “Add.”
- Open a document and print to confirm the setup is successful.
