Canon MegaTank G1430 setup on Windows
- Unbox the printer and remove all packaging materials
- Install ink tanks as per the instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Plug in the power cord and turn on the printer
- Use a USB cable to connect the printer to computer.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Once driver is downloaded, open the file to begin installation
- Open the Control Panel on your computer and select Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on the Canon PIXMA G1430 and select Set as Default Printer if you want it to be the default printer for all print jobs.
- Go to Start > Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Select the Canon PIXMA G1430 from the list, click on it, and choose Manage.
- Click Print a Test Page to ensure everything is working.

- Unbox the printer and remove all packaging materials
- Install ink tanks as per the instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Plug in the power cord and turn on the printer
- Use a USB cable to connect the printer to computer
- Download and install drivers from the bottom of the page
- Open the downloaded file and follow on screen instructions
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Click the + button and select the Canon G1430 from the list.
- Open any document and print a test page to ensure proper setup.

- Unbox the printer and remove all packaging materials
- Install ink tanks as per the instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Plug in the power cord and turn on the computer
- Use a USB to connect printer to the PC.
- Install Canon Print App from App Store
- Open Settings > Wi-Fi, ensuring the printer and device are on the same network.
- In an app like Photos or Mail, tap Share and then Print to select the Canon G1430.
- Select a document or photo and tap Print to confirm setup.

- Unbox the printer and remove all packaging materials
- Install ink tanks as per the instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Plug in the power cord and turn on the computer
- Use a USB to connect printer to the PC
- Install Canon Print App from Google Play Store
- Open the app and give necessary permissions
- With the printer connected via USB OTG, the app should detect the Canon PIXMA G1430.
- Follow prompts to register and configure the printer.
- Print a Document or Photo:
- Open a file, tap Share > Canon PRINT > Print.

- Load paper into the tray

- Under Printers, click Add Printer.
- Your Canon G1430 should appear in the list of available printers. Select it.
- Print a test page or any document from your Chromebook to verify the setup.
