Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.

Canon MegaTank G1410 setup on Windows
- Prepare the Printer:
- Connect the power cable and turn the printer on.
- Install the ink tanks.
- Connect to your Computer:
- Connect the PIXMA G1410 to your Windows computer using a USB cable.
- Install the Driver:
- You’ll need to select your operating system (Windows) and the appropriate driver for your printer.
- Download and install the driver file.
- Follow the on-screen instructions during the installation process.
- Network Setup (If needed):
- If you want to connect the printer wirelessly, you can also set up a network connection.
- Setting up a wireless connection on their website.
- You may need to restore the printer to factory settings if you’ve changed your internet service provider.

- Download Drivers and Software:
- Locate and download the necessary drivers and software for your Mac operating system.
- Follow the instructions on the downloaded file to install the software.
- Add the Printer to Your Mac:
- Open System Settings on your Mac.
- Navigate to “Printers & Scanners”.
- Click the “+” button to add a printer.
- Select your PIXMA G1410 from the list of available printers.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

- Connect the Printer to Your Wi-Fi Network:
- Consult your printer’s manual for instructions on how to connect to your Wi-Fi.
- You may need to press and hold a Wi-Fi button on the printer until the power button and it’s ready to connect.
- Download and Install the Canon PRINT App:
- Search for “Canon PRINT” in the App Store and download the application.
- Register Your Printer in the App:
- Open the Canon PRINT app on your iOS device.
- Print from Your iOS Device:
- Once the printer is registered, you can print.

- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Download the app from the play store.
- Add the printer on the app:
- Click on the add icon on the phone.
- Now click on the register printer.
- Select your Canon G1410.
- Now the printer is installed on your phone.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

- Network Connection:
- Ensure both your Chromebook and PIXMA G1410 are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Chromebook Settings:
- Access Chromebook settings:
- At the bottom right of your Chromebook, select the time, then select “Settings”.
- Under “Devices,” scroll down to “Printers and scanners”.
- Add Printer Manually: Select “Printers” then “Add printer manually”.
- Access Chromebook settings:

- Name:
- Enter a name for your printer.
- Address:
- Enter your printer’s IP address.
- Add Printer:
- Select “Add” to add your printer to the list.
- Testing:
