Canon MegaTank G1220 setup on Windows
- Connect the printer:
- Use a USB cable to connect the printer to your computer.
- Driver Installation:
- Windows should automatically detect the printer and install the necessary driver.

Canon MegaTank G1220 setup on macOS
- Turn on the printer and connect it to your Mac with a USB cable.
- Open System Settings on your Mac, then click on Printers & Scanners in the sidebar.
- Click the “+” button to add a new printer.
- Select your Canon G1220 printer from the list of available printers.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer driver.
- Once the driver is installed, you can select your printer from the “Default printer” dropdown menu in Printers & Scanners.

- Prepare your printer:
- Make sure your Canon G1220 is connected to your Wi-Fi network.

- Download the app from the play store.
- Add the printer on the app:
- Click on the add icon on the phone.
- Now click on the register printer.
- Select your Canon G1220.
- Now the printer is installed on your phone.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Canon MegaTank G1220 setup on Chromebook
- Connect your printer to the internet:
- Make sure your Chromebook and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Add the printer to your Chromebook:
- On your Chromebook:
- Click the clock in the bottom right corner and select “Settings”.
- Under “Device,” find and select “Printers and scanners”.
- Choose “Printers” and then “Add printer manually”.
- Enter the printer’s IP address. You may need to consult your printer’s manual or network settings to find this.
- Click “Add” to save the printer.
- Testing your printer:
- After adding the printer, you can test it by trying to print a document.
- Printing from your Chromebook:
- When you’re ready to print, select the printer from the print settings in your Chromebook.
