Canon MegaTank G1110 setup on Windows
- Unbox the printer and connect it to power cord
- Press the power button
- Open the ink tank cover and install them
- Load paper into the tray
- Plug the USB cable into the printer
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Run the downloaded setup and follow the prompts
- The installer will detect the printer and finalise the configuration
- Print a test page for successful operation.
Canon MegaTank G1110 setup on Android
- Unbox the printer and connect it to a power cord
- Press the power button
- Open the ink tank cover and install the cartridges
- Connect the phone to the printer using the USB OTG cable
- Install Mopria Print service from the Playstore
- Grant permissions and let it detect the printer
- Tap Share>Print to confirm normal operation
Canon MegaTank G1110 setup on Chromebook
- Unbox the printer and connect it to power cord
- Press the power button
- Open the ink tank cover and install the cartridges
- Connect the printer to Chromebook via USB cable
- Go to Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Add Printer Manually: If not detected automatically, click “Add Printer”.
- Enter Details:
- Name: Canon G1110
- Address: usb://Canon/G1110 (or leave blank if Chromebook detects it)
- Protocol: USB
- Select Printer Driver:
- Choose “Canon” > Generic Canon driver or “Generic Inkjet” if no exact match.
- Save and Print Test Page: Confirm basic functionality.
- Print a test page to confirm normal operation
