Canon Pixma E4270 setup on Windows
- Unbox and power on the printer
- Install ink cartridges and load paper
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Open the setup file and follow the instructions
- Use the printer screen to select your WiFi network and enter the password
- Complete installation
- Print a test page to confirm normal operation
Canon Pixma E4270 setup on macOS
- Power on the printer.
- Install ink cartridges and load paper
- Connect to WiFi.
- On the printer’s display, go to Wireless Setup > choose your Wi-Fi network > enter the password.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Run installer and follow on screen instructions
- Add printer.
- On your Mac, go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners → Click + → Select Canon E4270 from the list.
- Complete setup.
- Click add.
- Print test page to confirm normal operation.
Canon Pixma E4270 setup on iPhone & iPad
- Power on the printer
- Connect printer to WiFi
- On the printer screen, go to Wireless Setup, select your Wi-Fi network, and enter the password.
- Install Canon app.
- Go to the App Store on your iPhone or iPad and download Canon PRINT Inkjet
- Ensure same WiFi.
- Connect your iOS device to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
- Add Printer.
- The app will search and display available printers. Select Canon E4270 to add it
- Print a test file to confirm smooth operation.
Canon Pixma E4270 setup on Android
- Power on the printer
- Connect printer to Wifi.
- Use the printer’s control panel to go to Wireless Setup, select your Wi-Fi network, and enter the password.
- Install Canon App.
- Go to Play Store and install Canon Print Ink jet app
- Connect to same WiFi.
- Make sure your Android phone/tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
- Open Canon app and accept permissions
- The app will auto-detect the printer. Tap on it to add.
- Test the connection.
- Print document or photo to confirm normal operation.
Canon Pixma E4270 setup on Chromebook
- Power on the printer.
- Connect to WiFi
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Wireless Setup, select your Wi-Fi network, and enter the password.
- Open Chromebook settings
- Click the clock in the bottom right> Settings> Advanced>Printers
- Add printer: Click Add Printer. If the E4270 is on the same network, it should appear automatically.
- Select Canon E4270: Choose it from the list. If prompted, confirm or enter the printer’s IP address (found on the printer’s Wi-Fi settings).
- Complete setup. Click add to finish. Chrome OS will handle drivers automatically.
- Print test page to confirm normal operation.
