Canon PIXMA E414 setup on Windows
- Unbox the printer
- Install ink tanks as per given instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Power the printer on by connecting it to a power source
- Connect via USB
- For USB, plug the cable into your PC.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Follow on screen instructions to complete driver installation
- Print a test page to confirm normal operation
Canon PIXMA E414 setup on macOS
- Unbox the printer
- Install ink tanks as per given instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Power the printer on by connecting it to a power source
- Connect via USB
- For USB, plug the cable into your PC
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners, click the ”+”, and add the Canon E414.
- Print a test page to confirm installation
Canon PIXMA E414 setup on Android
- Unbox the printer
- Install ink tanks as per given instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Power the printer on by connecting it to a power source
- Go to the Google Play Store and install the Canon Print app
- Install the app and give necessary permissions
- Use an OTG adapter and USB cable to connect the printer to your phone
- Launch Canon Print. It should auto detect the printer
- Open a document/photo, tap Share or Print, select the Canon E414
- Print a test page to confirm normal operation
Canon PIXMA E414 setup on Chromebook
- Unbox the printer
- Install ink tanks as per given instructions
- Load paper into the tray
- Power the printer on by connecting it to a power source
- Connect via USB (USB-A to USB-B cable required)
- Click the time at the bottom-right > Settings > scroll down to Advanced > Printing.
- Canon E414 should appear automatically under Available printers.
- Click Add next to the Canon E414 to complete the connection.
- The printer will now appear under Saved Printers.
- Test Print: Open a document or webpage, press Ctrl + P, select the Canon E414, and print.
